More 4 are showing it this coming weekend, and I'm really looking forward to it as I haven't seen it before. I'm a bit of a film fan and adore older pictures (I'm only young), but this one I've never seen for some reason, and didn't know too much about it.

Now I know there's a twist, and I know what it is now, no thanks to More 4, because in the promo they make it so bloody obvious. Very annoying indeed, because perhaps now it's been ruined for me. Anyway, when you first saw this film did you know the twist, or were you genuinely shocked when it was revealed? Because to be honest it seems pretty obvious to me, just looking at the More 4 ad. Maybe I'm wrong.

Nether the less I'm looking forward to it, because I loved Rea in 'Life Is Sweet' & I like the look of this one...
 
Genuinely shocked, and so were all my mates I lived with at the time who were watching it. In fact, traumatised is more the word.

That reminRAB me, I havent watched it for a few years, I'll dig out my old video of it.
 
They usually do, unless it's a soap storyline. There's a film out at the moment like that, where everyone's been asked not to reveal the story. I won't say which one it is.
 
I was totally shocked too. Never expected it.

but I wonder nowadays if it would be as big a shock, I think people in general were a bit more innocent back then??

Great movie though, you'll enjoy it!!
