The Crow remake hot or flop

As much as I would love this film to be as good as the first going on the last Crow movies I think its probably not to be up to much.

What NOLAN did for Batman, anyone good could have played Batman and it still would have been a fantastic reboot.

Need to see who is directing/writing and in the lead role to really judge. Interested to see what different direction they are going to take it in.

Yeah, Batman worked fantastically well... but, I dunno, for all its faults, The Crow is very much what it is- it's of its time, knowing Brandon Lee had died filming it gave it a weird feel when you were watching it, the Cure and NIN doing new tracks for it, the whole story was essentially very 90s. I know it's a cliche, but it was before the war on terror; the world's moved on.

I say this as someone who was obsessive about the comic from the time I spotted issue 1 in a shop and realised that loaRAB of the dialogue was lifted from Joy Division songs, and who really didn't want them to ruin it by making a movie in the first place. That said, I also say this as someone who has now watched said movie more times than is healthy, so I accept that I may also be totally wrong about the remake being any good.

They're remaking one of my favourite films? Blasphemy!:(

The trouble is, the first film is a cult classic and touching them is dangerous. Batman can be reinvented, and has been many times, but some things need leaving in the vault for a few generations.

Yeah, that's the thing. It's like The Wicker Man. You just don't.

OH MY GOD. I've just had the worst thought in the history of thought EVER. What if they decide to make Draven a bit older and get Nicolas Cage in? Then I'd have to kill someone. Probably Nicolas Cage.

Yeah there was also a Grunge Soundgarden,Nirvana and Smashing Pumkins thing going on and HUM.Also the whole shoegazing thing too and the first movie was made for that era after people, was feed up with pop culture and 80's fashion. And there was that whole post goth and indie thing going on I miss them day's and looking at my shoes and in the pure blue sky.

It should be a flop but no doubt will be a hit. The sequels were pretty awful but the original is one of my favorite films of all time, the stylized violence, the dark tone and the dialogue, mixed with the sound track, Brandon Lees best performance before his untimely death which gives the film even darker overtones just make it a great film. Although slightly different from the Graphic novels it stanRAB in my opinion as one of the best Graphic Novel to screen films made. Put Proyas on the map as a great director. Just love this film and can only see in any remakes or reboots as they are now called.

Can't Rain all the time
