The Critic gives Reelz Channel "Two Thumbs Up" with Marathon on 3/16

For those who have Reelz Channel (a VERY INTERESTING movie channel), Reelz Channel will run The Critic with a eight hour marathon on March 16 at 2PM, Eastern.

Good: We get to see this show again.
Bad: It's on a channel that people could barely get.

As long as its presentation is as good as Comedy Central's was when it aired there several years ago, without animated promos running during the show and with the end credit sequences intact. If it turns out to be cluttered with screen junk and badly cut to allow more commercials like the way TBS presents its programs, I'll pass.:yawn:

Yeah, I'm recently trying too archive Home Improvement from TBS and Nick. Ugh, they really are making it annoying too tape anything these days, arn't they?

I'd love too archive the Critic this way, but I don't think even FIOS gets that channel

Reelz is a digital channel in my area. This will give me a break from March Madness.

Wonder if I get this channel. I really want to watch The Critic again, but can't find the DVD ANYWHERE.

They don't seem to sell it at Best Buy, or at least not the BBs I visit. If you have a Sam Goody (or, if you're lucky, a Suncoast) near you, you might want to try that. They still have some TV-on-DVD that BB has stopped carrying. And this goes without saying, but there's always online too.

Though when you think about it, The Critic complete series has now been out for over four years (man, how time flies... I remember buying this during my sophomore year of college!), so it's no wonder it's a little harder to find in the never-ending battle for shelf space.

I just assumed the DVD's out of print by now, and if I'm lucky, I could find it cheap used or not-so-cheap at FYE. And so far I haven't been lucky enough for either.

If only I got into the show earlier, then I could have the DVD!:sad:

Try Borders or Barnes & Noble. They tend to carry a lot of titles that are pretty close to being out of print. They charge the full retail price, but they might have it.

I have Reelz Channel. Comcast just added it in my area on channel 161. I've never seen this show; maybe I'll watch.
