The Cricket Thread

i have a motorola t731c that was w/ qwest. i am trying to move it over to cricket. they csr said they were able to move esn but advised me to go to store where i bought to to reprogram the phone, only problem is qwest is now sprint here in az, and i got it throught the mail. they gave me mpn 8286361815 and min (same as phone #) 6024467673

I heard rumors that cricket might be coming to philadelphia cause theres already coverage in pittsburgh my brother wants cricket here cause he dosent know how to control him self and he used to have it when he lived in phoenix

You can get it done at a wireless repair shop, you don't have to go back to the store you got the phone from. Just call repair shops in your phonebook and ask if they can flash your Qwest phone to work with Cricket. Some repair shops do it some don't. They usually charge a fee of about 35 dollars.

Yes I do have caller ID. I have been over it many times with Cricket and they never have an answer. They basically tell me to contact the phone manufacturer. If it's not in their basic script the call center people aren't much help.

rochester NY launch e.t.a June '07, they say that will tie in buffalo Ny and Syracuse Ny with Rochester to make one big market. That will help me sell they're product fo show. cuz helio is hard to sell right now,

Yea, I mean I can control myself, but I choose not to lol. Its nice not having to worry about how many minutes you use or messages you send. And your bill is always the same, no surprises. And as far as features go, we currently dont have wireless net, but according to the manager at the corporate store in El Paso, CricKet will have it in Noveraber. And The Razr V3c will be available in May (again info is from the manager at corporate store)

i went to one store and they said if they could reprogram it, it would be $10. but afterwarRAB he said he couldn't because of the security code being changed by qwest. qwest was not much help, of course, with divulging it. So i took it to a cell phone repair shop where they flashed it and programmed it for me. And the man there was one of the smartest nicest people i have met. The store was called sun cellular, i believe. located in central phoenix at 2813 E McDowell Rd. don't have their phone # though. Thank you for your help on advising me to go to a repair shop evilstan60

I have 850 on 3 lines from cing gotta be careful cause like are roll over minutes ran away cause ppl started using more minutes all of a sudden but gonna get 1k and unlimited text next year from tmo

Wow, I would go over 850 by myself, you guys must have a hard time sharing that 3 ways. tmo is good but their services add up. Your plan is only 39.99 and then you get your bill and its like 96 bux cuz it was 14.99 for unlimited text then 5.99 for wap and 6.99 for m2m plus all the taxes. Thats why I switched to cricket cuz its about 52 a month unlimited everything and my bill never surprises me. Seriously if Cricket becomes available in your area I recommend it. I dont even use a landline anymore. Less bills now, great for student budgets.

hello anyone please helpi have a vrigin mobile phone kyocera rave can i change this to a cricket my friend has the same phone but he bought it with cricket service on it please help if i can do this

Well, I manage a cell phone store in Moraine, OH that sells ALOT of Cricket, And the major complaint that I've gotten is how the coverage only goes to MAYBE Springboro, OH...

well tmo will work out better for us cause my old habbit of callin alot of cing ppl besides mom and grandmom... has changed to calling alot of tmo ppl and diffrent networks our plan is gonna be 3 lines with tmo i worked it out it would be about the same now i went over on text's once by a whole lot... about 150.00 extra

You will have to get it reprogrammed. The easiest way to do that is to go to a wireless repair shop and have them do it. Otherwise you will have to buy a data cable and do some phone programming research. My real suggestion would be to just buy a new phone. The rave is an awful phone.
