The Cricket PRL doesn't allow any off-network roaming, so I suspect you're not running the correct PRL. Can you check the PRL version on your phone?

A-Key has nothing to do with primary or seconday and there is no such thing as a B-Key. The A-key (authentication key) is unique to your hanRABet and is assigned by the provider during OTASP. Noone else will be able to give it to you since it is a unique secret key, only known to your provider.

There 45.00 a month plan includes unlimited text messaging sms, you can do aim so far as i know threw im forwarding on mymobile.aol.com

No... the phones are pricey but its cuz your not commited to a contract. Like Tmobile and Cingular can afford to sell you phones for cheap cuz they know they are gonna make money off of you cuz of your contract, with cricket you could up and leave them anytime. The initial startup with them can be pricey but I mean it has benefits, its cheap thereafter and you have no contract.Your first month of service is usually free though.

what phone is it that you have, it tells you that if you have a phone that doesnt have mms enabled. if not it tells you the whole go to mycricket.com thing.

Well, I thought it would be nice to have a thread all about cricket considering they are expanding. So anyone have anything good or bad to say about Cricket? Any tricks tips or news?

Ok thanks
I wonder if they will be getting new phones anytime soon with cameras. I saw an Audiovox, but im not sure of they get good reception..

The Akey field is only 3 digits long, should i call my local store and see if anyone therer knows anything.
Also im using the PRL from above(page 4), if thats not correct can someone email a correct one, [email protected]

Thanks

Hello sports fans, Thought youd like to know that as of today cricket has the RAZR! Thats right no more flashing a verizon or alltel you can just buy a cricket phone. No word yet on BT issues but Im hopefull they didnt pull a vzw and durab it down too bad. Oh and for cricket the price isnt too bad 299.00 which is what I paid for my verizon that I then had to flash. Damn should have waited 6 weeks. But I do have an .02 with bt dun !

Got the cricket Razr yesterday. I really like the phone so far.

Can somewith with cricket please help me. I have this ongoing problem with text messaging. I can receive them and I can send them but I cannot respond to them. When I click reply my phone (every phone I have had with cricket) says "no reply address entered" or something similar (depending on the phone). I can send messages and I can recieve messages but I just cannot reply. Does anyone else have this problem? I am in the Knoxville, TN market if hat matters.

Alright, finally found a group with my interests at heart!
I'm just dying to put my LG vx7000 on cricket, I've been told it can be done, so I'm searching for any info on how to do that, can I flash it myself? Or manually program it myself? Any accumulated knowledge on this would be great, Verizon just sucked and my old cricket phone is dead anyway, might as well make the switch...
This is for crcket in Phoenix AZ, FYI.

What markets are they expanding into?
Do they have their own spectrums in these markets, or are they going to be reselling?
Thanks

Im kinda a noob at this so when cricket told me that i could could activate any CDMA phone with them i took it at face value. I didnt realize I was going to have to flash the software as they told me i will AFTER i bought the phone. I bought a verizon V710 and was wondering if you could walk me through the proccess of making it work on Cricket service. Any help would be greatly appreceiated

i have a sprint phone (lg pm325) i have my msl, what are the steps to get it onto cricket? do i have to change home sid/nid settings or anything? can i do the changes just using the phone, or do i need a data cable?

Man Im sorry but you got me with that one. Are the messages that you are replying to (or trying to )From outside crickets network? Ive been with cricket a year and my wife and 14 year (now there is a text expert)old daughter have been with them 18 months and I have never heard of that problem. The problem here in nebraskas is that we can text to anyone except sprint customers from lincoln. At least my family cant. Can get them but cant send them get service not aval. message.

You can activate any CDMA phone on Cricket. I just helped someone activate a v710 on Cricket not too long ago. Just make sure it's a Verizon or Alltel postpaided phone so it's MSL Unlocked and easy to reprogram for Cricket.
