The Cleveland Show is the #1 NEW show among teens and men 18-49!

Not that surprising, new shows seem to have more and more trouble taking off nowadays, so spinoffs have a distinct advantage. Look at how well NCIS: LA is doing.

Personally I'd wait until the end of the season to declare it #1 though...
 
The only three shows I watch regularly are the Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Family Guy. Cold Case would be a runner up. The thing is, though, that all of those shows are out of my demographic (21 year old female). So I don't put much weight into this stuff.
 
You're an 18-49 adult though, and that's the demographic those shows (and all of primetime television really) is aiming at.

A few shows narrow their target demo down to a 18-34 and male or female (like The CW overall and Glee are with 18-34 females) but overall the adults 18-49 is what primetime TV is aiming at, as that's what advertisers' dollars are based off of.
 
Not surprising. It comes on right after Family Guy, the highest-rated show on the network, and is made by the same guy.

It's an okay show, but if it wasn't for Seth's name, and the show's involvement with Family Guy, The Cleveland Show would've tanked harder than Fish Police.
 
I'll confess...I've found myself becoming very bored with TV overall; even American Dad doesn't really do it for me anymore; it's really a situation where I have to watch the show a lot to find it utterly hilarious, otherwise it just starts falling flat.

Oddly enough, The Cleveland Show is one of those things that I can just catch if I'm not busy, and I find it really, really good!

Again, nothing I'm watching religiously or anything--or even bother to record, but should I just happen to catch it, it's worth the time.

I think it completely blows both Family Guy( which I've grown to overall despise) and American Dad out of the water.
 
^ Even though I'm not exactly a hater (Family Guy I get some chuckles from) I did stop watching the Cleveland Show about 2/3 weeks ago. :sweat: I may watch it again to see if it's gotten better.

Not everyone watches it to hate on it, some people are watching it to see if it improves or if anything interesting happens.

You can't form an opinion on a series (good or bad) without watching a good amount of episodes.
 
Well, you can't account for the number of people people who don't like Family Guy anymore who actually did stop watching it, because chances are they don't post in the episode talkbacks either.

There's always going to be some people who watch for no other intent but to criticize, but that's a pretty universal phenomenon.
