A new episode airs tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

Cleveland's ex was written out? Just like that?

Glenn Quagmire, everyone *Guest Star applause*

Looks like the Bath Tub gag took it's toll. I'm surprised Cleveland survived those many times...

Well, the pilot episode mentions that she ended up with ownership of the house as a result of the divorce, so that's possible.

Horrible episode. It had fantastic potential. Cleveland dealing with the death of Loretta could have been funny with some actual emotion, but first of all, the farts ruined everything. And Loretta's death plot was uneventful. You would think that Cleaveland's wife (don't remember her name right now) would understand emotionally that Cleveland just lost someone he spent a chunk of his life with.

Well, the plot of Loretta being written out could've been handled better. I mean, when I heard that Loretta would be killed off, I was expecting a bit of plot revolving around it happening. Furthermore, I was expecting it to be in an episode of Family Guy. Unfortunately, I missed the parts explaining Loretta's cause of death and Quagmire's appearance. As for the fart gags, I thought they were actually pretty funny, like the part with the twister in the house and them going into the lake like that. It looks like they're going to be making a running gag out of incidents leading to death, followed by missing scenes and then it comes back where they were saved by that magic walrus. You know, eventually, someone's going to ask where that guy keeps flying off to after saving somebody.

The parts that dealt with the Family Guy characters were hilarious, but the rest of the episode stunk. It's amazing that even just mentioning Family Guy characters like the Greased Up Deaf Guy manage to get laughs, but the only thing this show can come up with without Family Guy references is lame jokes about flatulence. It makes me very doubtful that this show will ever get out of Family Guy's shadow and find it's own memorable characters. And no, that walrus ain't gonna do it.
