It was made for the Big Screen and for 3D. TBH I'm not sure how well this one will translate to regular DVD - it's going to lose a lot, that's for sure.

I can see the Avatar bashers renting the DVD in a few months time, watching it in 2D on a small screen and instantly deciding it's rubbish and they were right all along.
