I agree with you Go Huskers! the film did add lots to the storyline and for the better and characters were devloped further, in my opinion Susan especially. I think with book adaptations, whatever type of movie it is, as long as the director and producers stick near enough to the main storyline fans shouldn't complain too much and they should remember that its only the directors perspective of the events. Woah that's like a mini essay, how to conclude

Woooo Go Prince Caspian the movie :D

I'll miss seeing William Moseley. But I am excited on who'll they cast as the new characters.

i'm looking forward to seeing this movie. i loved The Lion,Witch and the Wardrobe.

I read all the books. Of the entire series, Prince Caspian was my least favorite, but I LOVED the movie! There are people who complain that the movie strayed too far from the book, but I personally think that the film was a better adaptation of the story.

What was so wonderful about C.S. Lewis is that he left so much up to your imagination.......he didn't bog down his stories with lots of details. I think the movie has added a lot of needed depth and texture to the Prince Caspian story.

Just my opinion.......but I wanted to share it. I think too many enthusiasts of the book are missing the point when it comes to the film adaptation and are over-critical. People who have never read the book seem to be quite pleased with the movie because they're enjoying it for what it is and not making comparisons.

^ Yea, I kind of understand what you are saying. I thought the first one was good, but not great. I was expecting more from it than what we got. I'm probably just too critical though from reading the books. But I have heard that this one is a lot different and better than the first. It is a lot darker and much more action packed. It will be interesting to see how they did it.

Did anyone see Ben Barnes on Jay Leno last night? He's one funny guy. Lol. That was a very good interview.

Ben is gonna be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight and TRL on Thursday, if anyone is interested. :)

That another thing about it even if you haven't read the book it's a great movie so hopefully people who haven't read the books will see it

haha, my mom was wonderin the same thing. it would've been cute if Susan stayed and ruled Narnia along side Caspian. it wouldnt make sense if he crosses into their world tho...bcuz who would rule Narnia? but anyway, that would just upset fans who stay true to the books. a girl can dream right? *sigh* i can never get over the way he looks at her. Caspian makes me swoon.

i just got back from watching the movie the 3rd time..and after watching for the 3rd time..i'm done. lol. i enjoyed it nonetheless, but it has become predictable and less exciting. imma wait till the DVD comes out.

I just saw the movie yesterday, and I loved it :)
I'm definitely going to be sad for the next one though, because i'll miss seeing Susan & Peter.
but as long as Ben Barnes is in the next one, I think I'll be okay.

I saw the movie and it was amazing!!!

Lucy has grown so much. Edmund did grow on me after the last movie and he had many moments and lines where it's obvious he's a hero as well. Peter was just savage.

PC was bearable for me..I was okay with the Susan/PC stuff..it wasn't too much minus the horn to call me scene which was

Amy_UK - Yeah I wish he was in Stardust longer. (As well as Henry Cavill) ;)

New Prince Caspian Trailer YAY!

i love the music in this trailer. Plus, as scoggialicia said, it is more action packed. I really like how Narnia films do their trailers. it is so engaging.

Just got back from seeing the movie.

LOVED IT!!!!!

Man, Prince Caspian was pretty cute. And even Peter and Edmond got hotter too!

There was so much sword play in it and so much action right away. It was great.

Being the small romantic person that I am, I was really hoping that either Susan would have stayed in Narnia with Caspian or that Caspian would have crossed into the other world with them. Who cares about the 1300 year age difference, they looked perfect for each other.

Oh well. Really enjoyed this movie. I liked the first one but I loved this one ten times more.

Personally I'm ok with everything not being exactly faithful to the book because I understand that films and books are created and delivered differently. I don't think the film makers will go to far from the plot but may add a few little things for entertainment purposes..

Hi Girls!! I'm Val...
I absolutely adore the Narnia movies... but definitely this second one, was amazing
and Ben is a total cutie

I haven't read the books but I really enjoyed this movie... and can't wait for number 3 :yay:

I've watched it 2 times... May 15th, in my country that was the release day... and last tuesday. Plus, Ben&William&Skandar are so damn hooot!

oh and I saw some Ben icons back in page 6... snagging them all and will credit for future use ;)

I loved the first one so I can't wait for this movie! Never read the books so I have no idea what's the story.. But I liked the trailer :)

Same here! I wish he was in Stardust for longer. I'm really looking forward to Prince Caspian! I haven't seen the trailer yet though. :(

I have a new mad crush on Ben Barnes  I loved him when I saw him in Stardust. Him being in this movie is what I really want to see :)
