^ yeah they should have saved it for the end of the year just like they did with the first one. Because Prince Caspian isn't as well known of a story as TLTW&TW

I loved the movie as well... been awhile since I watched the first so I can't be sure which I enjoyed the most... however I am still curious why the soldiers stopped briefly when they seen Lucy approaching before Aslan was even visible (especially with the other army hot on their tails), maybe there's something else in the book... unless they're like... what's she going to do? :P But you would think whatever they were going to do to win the battle that they'd need to be farther ahead?

My birthday  Hope they keep it. ;)

glad u liked it overall! :) i might watch it the 5th time tomorrow after watching some other movie. my friend and i plan to watch indiana jones i think..and afterwards we'll sneak in and catch Prince Caspian hopefully  i can never get tired of it.

and i read somewhere that they plan a DVD release on Dec 2008. :( which is soo long for me.

yes we are growing :sigh: we should have a thread here in :ff: :look: like maybe in couples board? :)

I wish there's a Narnia board :look:

I don't think it was the biggest premier ever but it definately was the biggest in the UK which is still pretty huge!

I saw it last night, I really enjoyed it although it seemed so much darker than the first film... perhaps too much so to be PG? Even I was having an emotional reaction to the Narnian death-toll, so I wondered about young children...

Anyway... totally wasn't buying into the whole Susan / Caspian thing. Not when there was clearly a lot more unresolved sexual tension between him and Peter. ;)

I can't freakin' wait to see this!! Gosh. I'm going on Sunday night. Already got my tickets. I know it's going to be fantastic. I have already heard great things about it.

And yes, Ben Barnes isn't bad on the eyes. Lol.

Completely Narnia Fan Here :D I had watched the movie 3 times already, planning to see it again at least one more time, until the DVD!!!

I have read all the books, and completely love both movies!!!
I'm not that happy with the Susan/Caspian relationship :look: I think it was really sweet on the movie and everything, being a girl I completely love that kind of stuff , but I still don't think it was the best idea to have it, must of all because of the love story on the next movie ;)

Really going to miss Susan and Peter in the next movie :(, but Lucy and Edmund are my favourite characters, so for that, I'm happy that now they'll have more sreen time :P, now that "voyage" is their last movie for them

I can't wait for Voyage of the Dawn Treader on 2010 :D

I was kinda not happy with the kiss beforehand but it wasn't a huge deal in the movie so that I liked.

and peter was savage in an amazing good way :D

I definitely agree. I'm excited to see what else he does. :D I'm re-reading The Dawn Treader now, picturing Ben Barnes. :sigh:

^ What was that movie about though? :)

Finally I already saw it last night! :woot:

I really like it. The first half kind of bored me a little. The last part, however, is very nicely done.

1. Georgie Henley is sooo beautiful now!
2. Skandar Keynes is *thumbs up.* He is cool. And William Moseley is a cutie Leo Dicaprio/Heath Ledger look-alike.
3. And would I make a comment without mentioning Ben Barnes? :D :sigh: Gorgeous.
4. I like Regina Spektor's song at the end credits.
5. Seeing the fauns is when I realized that I miss James McAvoy :(
6. Yehey Tilda Swinton!

The final battle was awesome. It did remind me of LOTR in a good way of course. I love that no matter what happene it is still Lucy's faith in Aslan that saved them. Can't wait for the Voyage of the Dawn Treader now.

Does anybody know if Disney will adapt The Last Battle? It's my favorite out of the Chronicles and I hope they do. I heard that they'll be pushing through with The Silver Chair after VOTDW

P.S. Hehehe, cute Susan/Caspian romance but I still didn't like it. :p But hey, if this will make people longing for something to happen, have that butterfly-in-stomach feeling, and be on the edge of their seats, then Disney did a good job :D :)

I just saw Narnia today and it was really good. I'm a bit confused though as to the ending. Why can't Peter and Susan go back to Narnia? Sorry, I've never read the Prince Caspian book!

LOVED the movie!!
Ben Barnes is really handsome and his accent is just awesome!!
Reepicheep is sooooo cute. He kind of reminds me of Puss in Boots from Shrek, don't think so you too?
I loved the part where in the battle he takes on a Telmarine n the Telmarine tells him "You're a mouse" and Reepicheep says "You people have no imagination"
lol

Wasn't it the largest movie premiere ever? Or was it just the biggest in the UK? 10,000 people.......it was quite an event. And then they all went to France for the big premiere there.

Just saw it, and I loved it!! It is a must see for any fan of the books or of the first film. Right from the beginning it sucked you back into the story and I really liked that. It was much darker than the first, kinda surprised it was only PG, and though some things were not close to the book it overall was very well done. I absolutely adored Lucy and Edmund in this one. Their characters weren't very much focused on in this one, which I was bummed about, but they were so endearing and fun to watch. They really all are but I have an extra soft spot for those two. I very much did enjoy this one more than the first. I'd give it 5 stars. I am looking forward to seeing the next film for sure. Too bad we have to wait two years!

And I was a little weirded out by the kiss. I knew it was coming but I was still surprised. It was kind of cute in a way. I don't get why people were freaking out so much about it though, even if it wasn't in the books. I do agree with what was mentioned earlier about them not overdoing the flirting and stuff between them. They did it very tastefully and by the end of the film I actually loved the flirting. The looks he would give her would make any girl swoon. Lol. And, I sure didn't mind looking at Ben Barnes for two and a half hours. He's a cuttie pie. :) Can't wait to see him in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader! And yes, he will be a huge star, no doubt in my mind. I thought he did a fantastic job in the film, and he played a very believable character. Good acting chops that guy has. I can't wait to see what other things he will do.

I think May is a great blockbuster month and sometimes studios look at things too huge. PC might not be a big sucess as Narnia but it's still gonna make a lot of money  however Dec would not have been such a bad month either. I can't believe it was delayed for that water horse movie..I saw it and it sucked. It didn't do too well at the box office either so what competition?

I really want to see this! All of my friends have been telling me how good it is and I want to go see it, but I'm so busy! :(
