Prince Caspian was a good movie. Very different from the book, but I liked the way they adapted it because the book isn't as much "movie material" as the other books of the series.

I loved the movie, there's a Caspian/Susan thread in the couple's section, if you'd want to join.

i work in an amc theater. and after my shift.. i went to the house that played narnia. i just wanted to see the ending lol. i got in when peter was fighting Miraz.

I gotta say.. (again) that i really REALLY think the whole caspian/susan thing was nicely done. it was cute.. especially the second time around. :D romance subplots, when it's nicely done, make me all giddy and happy.

im working again tomorrow.. i wanna see the "You may need to call me again" part... lol

PS: Reepicheep is sooo cute! i was sooo laughing when his men, ahem, mice were carrying him to Lucy. and they were playing this bagpipe sounding music. lol!

Don't even get me started on that! There is no question that this movie should have been released during the holiday season. And even though they have posted a May 2010 date for VODT, I hope with everything that is good and holy that they will find a way to speed up production so that they can have a December 2009 release instead.

On another subject.......I absolutely agree with everyone about Edmund. He was definitely my favorite character in PC, but then again, he was my favorite character in LWW as well. While he initially comes off as mean and whiny in LWW, I was always able to relate to the Edmund character and understand why a child of that age would reach a point where escape from ones siblings seemed like a good thing to do........only to recognize your mistake later and realize that family is everything.

I can't imagine anyone other than Skandar playing the role of Edmund. I think one of the reasons I love Edmund so much is because of Skandar's performance.

i plan on seeing Prince Caspian for the 3rd time with my cousins tonight! i'm really excited about them watching it as much as i'm excited in seeing it again.

I liked how Susan/PC was done..and all the animals and Narnians were cute. I missed the beavers and Mr.Tumus though :(

I love how badass all the characters developed

I finally saw it on the big screen..and it was really good!
It's such a shame that the movie was pushed back until now because there are so many 'big' releases out at the moment..so Prince Caspian isn't earning as much as money as it probably would have without all the competition (can't believe it was pushed back for the Water Horse movie :S).

i thought it was cute!! many of the book fans hated it though, which i understand. but i also read the books...n i thought the whole Caspian/Susan thing was cute as well. it was very subtle...and the way he looks at her sometimes make me swoon!

[sp] In the books, Susan does end up alone and never goes back to Narnia so it might just be a goodbye kiss. I saw it on a TV commercial today it doesn't look so bad. [/sp]

so we might get Prince Caspian on DVD/Blu-Ray sooner than December. i just read somewhere that Prince Caspian is listed on an October release!!! :) better than waiting for December i'll say.

NarniaWeb - Prince Caspian Coming to DVD/Blu-ray in October?

i think this narnia film is soo much more than the 1st one.....i really liked the susan capsian connection (even if it wasnt in the books, it worked)

i also liked edmund more this time around. he's really grown up since the 1st film.

[sp]I just don't know guys. . . Fine they can change and add a little romance so it won't be boring (as many moviegoers look for in movies). I'm normally OK with changing things in books-turned-into-films but I don't know why I am reacting this way here. I just don't see the point. I hate to sound like a snobbish fan but the Narnia I love seems to be so different in the film. It's like the innocence of the book is sacrificed big time so that it will "appeal" to the majority of moviegoers. Anyway, I hope that it's just a goodbye kiss and they never see each other again in the upcoming films as Caspian will get married to another girl. And Susan never goes back to Narnia.[/sp]

I wish Aslan was in it more too! I was bummed about that. I love that lion. :)

And yea, I wish there were more Susan/Caspian interaction as well. The scenes they did have together were nice, but they didn't talk to each other much. Wasn't there a scene when she was helping him do the archery or something? http://moviesmedia.ign.com/movies/image/article/809/809475/caspian_1185898372.jpg Ben Barnes Online - Gallery I was bummed they cut it out. It seemed like it would of been cute.

I definetly have to re read The Dawn Treader and picture Ben Barnes. Lol. Good idea, *antarian angel*.

I want the dvd now!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they got some good behind the scenes stuff on it. Bloopers would be great. Just lots of Ben and I'll be good. Hehe.

On youtube there's lots of vids of him from filming the movie. They are great. Just search him and enjoy! I can't stop watching.

Great icons on the previous page. :)

Oh ok! Thanks for clearing things up for me on the books! :D

[sp]That's really surprising about Susan. I never would have thought her character would become someone like that. hmm....[/sp]

News from Yahoo Movies

Well I agree. They "sandwiched" Narnia with too many blockbusters, as opposed to releasing it December last year. I have a feeling that if they released this December last year, it will be quite huge and dare I say the movie event around that season.

I can't believe that they delayed Narnia because of The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep. I didn't even know there's such a movie.

Although at the end of the day, there is still the DVD sales. Plus, these numbers are in North America alone, so there is still the International market :)

December 2008? That stinks. I want it now...!!! The DVD better have loads of extra footage.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one. It all look very expensive and pretty but the characters felt kind of empty to me. Maybe I just wanted it to be a little darker, hopefully the first one will improve on the characters.

^- No I haven't had a chance to see it yet. And that's what I hear; about it being a very great film.

When the first one came out I was going through an Anti-Christian phase. The first time I ever really did see the first one was in December 2007. I ended up liking it (and this was after my phase) so when I found out they were making another one I was stoked.

I'm going tonight with my parents who want to see it too so I am stoked!

the movie could've been better though. i do find it enjoyable than the first one..but Prince Caspian lacked character development. i was hoping for maybe a bit more Caspian/Susan. they didn't really interact in the movie. it was just longing looks..and a few flirting lines here and there. i'm glad they didn't overdo it...but it'd be nice if they talked more about maybe Caspian's father or somethin. it doesn't have to be a flirting thing..but more of a heart to heart conversation. i felt that the action can be redundant at times, tho the action was awesome to watch...it'd be nice if they left room for stuff they did leave out in the books. there wasn't even enough Aslan!
