A Christmas special of 'Early Doors' or another episode of any kind would be enough to please me. It would be on BBC2 on Boxing Day but the show neeRAB to finish properly!

I wonder if the Blackadder lot would ever be tempted to come back?

I can see Episode 5 or 6 being the late comedy on Christmas Night! A little like they did with Gavin and Stacey.

No. Fear not! EastEnders either 6.30pm-ish for part one, with a second part later in the evening, or EastEnders all in one, later in the evening.

I think there will be a film at around 6.30 or 7pm, depending on whether EastEnders is split into two eps, or shown as one long ep.

It's certainly a possibility. BBC2 showed The Damned United a few weeks ago and that only had a theatrical release in 2009.

I think you have correctly predicted Christmas Eve! Christmas night looks like it could be almost correct too. Only thing is, you haven't made allowances for the News on Christmas Day! Not sure about Michael McIntyre on Christmas Day though! Maybe Would I Lie To You at Christmas instead? Reason? The series has just been recommissioned following late night audiences of 4.5 million viewers.

I don't think ITV could care less about EastEnders TBH. If Only_You's schedule is what ITV went for, then I can see BBC1 going for:

6.00 EastEnders
6.30 Doctor Who
7.30 Strictly Come Dancing
8.30 EastEnders

Bit risky. G&S was on its third series so it was firmly established as a critical hit.

Giving the reaction to Little Britain USA, Walliams and Lucas may have gone the way of Victoria Wood or French & Saunders who quite a few people say have stopped being funny, so CFWM might flop.

I have heard that ITV plan to show Mary Poppins and Jumanji on the 23rd and 24th December

My guess is that Mary Poppins will take the 3-6pm slot on ITV on Christmas Eve, this has been a great slot over the last few years for showing traditional old school family films, until it let itself down last year with Corpse Bride
