Which is the cheapest package on BEV that will allow me to get most of the HD channels?

Locals for roughly $32, and most of the HD channels for $10 extra. If you want TSN and Sportsnet in HD, you have to purchase the first sports package for $5 more. Total price inlcuding taxes: $52. If you want the two HD movie channels, you have to get the movie package for an additional $19.

I now currently have the "locals" and the $10 HD package. I threatened to leave BEV for rogers several months ago, they gave me a no charge 6100 IRD for a year, free of charge and 6 months HD package no charge. I was currently a long time no contract customer, I agreed to a one year contract to get this offer. Try the "I wanna cancel my account" thing see what you can get.

There is almost ZERO chance of getting a $300, 6100.

At this price point it was a new receiver, Express Vu has none of these left, you should be looking for a refurbished unit at half that price.

Some Bell World stores have the 6150 Systems available for $299, this is a pair of refurbished receivers, 1 x 3100 and 1 x 6100.

Not sure where everyone is located but I know the Bell World Store in Bolton had several of these late last week..... If that helps.

NOTE.....

If you do see a 6100 at $299, check the label very closely for the word "reman", it's in very small print near the Receiver and Smart Card Numbers......

If anyone is in doubt I will try to get a couple of digital images tomorrow as examples. Express Vu no longer put large stickers on 'reman" receivers, it is just another way to attempt to dupe the customer.
