Well the cells in our body are the product of 4 billion years of evolution. There are much, much simpler things that are alive. It isn't even possible to determine where the line between living and non-living even is.
The odds against the necessary 250 proteins or so organizing correctly by random chance to create even the simplest form of life from inanimate matter are almost improbably high, even over a span of several billion years
