the Carebears.. I wish they still aired the show. Since the stuffed animals and acessories are coming back.. why not bring the show back??

Ha. We were on deadline this week at the paper and started an entire conversation on the care bears.

The questions that came up were:

1) Why is Grumpy bear there? The care bears are happy bears but he never is. What's up w/that?

2) If you look at it from one point of view how scary is the fact that the bears would shoot laser beams (from their stomachs) at people to get them to feel a simple emotion.

As you can tell, we were a little special.

Ah, wow does this bring back memories! It's cool to see that they are coming back. I own a few of those little care bear plushie things they have out now and ahh i love them. Brings back the old memories of being well.. i think i was 7 or 8 when i watched them.

Ahh love the pics on the other page. Soo cute!!

the CB's. I used to have the cassette of the Carebear Christmas. I find myself singing some of the songs in the shower still - and that tape disappeared about 15 years ago

to destress earlier after handing in one of my final essays, I watched both the Care Bears movies, one after the other, with a huge mug of hot chocolate and a bowl of popcorn
