The Butterfly Effect

Perhaps the way they did it makes it good to watch, you don't expect all the twists and turns. Sometimes films go too deep and try to be too clever and the story gets lost.

If this film is poorly executed, then make more of them.

Saw this film a long time ago and it really is brilliant. I didn't take Ashton Kutcher seriously as an actor until i saw this. He's really good in the Guardian too.

The US dvd gives you the choice of which ending to watch and has all the alternate endings too.

Unfortunately the UK Bluray pack of all 3 films only has the theatrical ending and no bonus features so the directors preferred ending is nowhere to be seen

I don't doubt that the film isn't clever and brilliant, but this film really upset me to my core. Any animal cruelty is enough to put me off a film for good. I cried so much.

I got dragged along to the cinema to see this but really enjoyed it and thought Kutcher played a really great role. I probably didn't enjoy it as much as I should have though due to not really wanting to see it and also being in a permanent 'IMDB Goofs' mode and noticing errors such as the 'stigmata' scene in the prison.

Borrowed the DVD from a friend and sat though properly, enjoyed it much more second time around, especially with the ending the director intended me to be sitting on my sofa to view.

Oooh I taped this the other night, I'd never heard of it but the wee bit of info was enough to persuade me to give it a go (possibly just the mention of Ashton Kutcher :o). Glad I did now, just need to get around to actually watching it...
