Buy, borrow or steal a copy of the DIRECTORS CUT version. It is vastely superior to the crappy theatre one that sucks lemons.

Avoid all spoilers and enjoy the movie and the ending that the director intended for you to see. :)
 
The Directors Cut Version is the ONLY one you should watch. And if you simply youtube it you're going to miss out on all the bits that came before that point to the DC ending being the only ending the movie should have. :)

[edit] oops, my bad, you were saying the sequels weren't much cop, and not the various endings to No1 not being much cop. I should read posts more carefully. :o

As for No2, worth a look, Lois Lane in undies. Not sure about the ending, but its's been awhile since I watched it.

Don't know about No3 though. :confused:
 
This is one of my favorite films, I only watched it my chance when it was on tv last year. I couldn't understand why no one had said how good it was etc... What a hidden gem.

Well it was hidden to me, perhaps I should get out more.:p
 
I haven't seen this film, or indeed anything Ashton Kutcher has done !
He just looks like an average "pretty-boy" actor to me.
Is he/ this film any good ?
To me, he is just famous for being married to Demi Moore - lucky sod !
 
I wouldn't judge the film by how he looks. You can safely skip most of his other films, but this one is quite different and interesting.

You can probably skip the sequels to Butterfly Effect too, since they were low budget and straight to DVD and not as highly regarded. It's not something that requires a sequel.

I saw it in the theaters with the theatrical ending, so now I'll have to rent it and see the director's cut.
 
Ooh, I love this movie. Much cleverer than you'd expect from a film starring Ashton Kutcher. :D

I agree, the Director's Cut is the superior ending by far! Rather depressing though. :(
 
I aree it is a great film 1 of the few films that really shocked mewhen i watched it and was going round my mind all night i reall shouldnt watch this type of film right befor going to bed
