I couldn't put Identity down...literally one of the most interesting books I've ever read. it's embarrassing to admit but I never knew anything about the books before I found that one online. I didn't even realize it took place in the past until several chapters in when Ludlum mentioned some technology of the time...excellent writer to have penned a book that long ago and make it still relevant today.

they have held up well over time..my dad got me into them about the time the first movie came out. prometheous deception by ludlum is another good book similar to the bourne series

4th book is already out, 5th book was released this year. Both written by a different author (Eric Van Lustbader). One is titled The Bourne Legacy and revolves around Bourne's son from his first marriage, second is titled The Bourne Betrayal.
