The Bourne Supremacy

I don't know. I mean the studios would probably would want to make another movie, but i really think that the people invovled would want it to be better than the other two. And i think that it would be hard to do. I'm so glad that this movie is doing so well. I think that Matt Damon's performance in it was great, especially in the very last scene.

I saw this today, it was great. Absolutely loved it. Matt was SO great in it.

I hardly recognized Franka in it. I thought she would be in it longer. I really liked all the twists and turns..... I was really surprised about who turned out to be the "bad" guy. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wished it had more romance in it, like the first one (kinda) did. But, it's an action movie so I'll forgive that.

Yay. He's so cute. :D I saw this movie on Saturday night, it was pretty good.

Rockstar Thanks :)
Bourne Supremecy is a book too !! I am soo clueless . I have to go see if my library has it !!
By then the movie would have released here in the US

Totally agree! I saw it today and it was awesome...a little confusing at first, but a great movie! I can't decide which one is better either.

Just saw the movie this afternoon. It was really good... a lot of unexpected twists, to me at least. It was even less like the 2nd book than the first movie compared to the first book. Matt Damon rocked though. He was so dark.

Definitely worth seeing. Actually, I'd see it again. :)

I can't say enough about the Bourne Surpremacy. I saw it this weekend and I must say that it lives up to the original. Despite some scenes which were hard to follow due to the movement of the camera the movie really kept my attention to the very end. The movie was very well casted and Matt Damon really kicked some ass! The final car chase between him and Karl Urban was awesome. I wonder with all the success the movie is racking in if they will make a movie based on the Bourne Ultimatium?

The car chase near the end is one of the best I've ever seen. I'd recommend it for that alone.

It turns out that two of the CIA guys who ran the Treadstone project (I haven't seen The Bourne Identity yet, but I assume it's mentioned there) are in cahoots with a crooked Russian oil millionaire, who swiped 20 million dollars some years ago. One is already dead. Bourne finds out about the other, who kills himself by the end of the movie. It turns out that Bourne's first mission, which is off the Treadstone books, was to make it easier for these guys to perpetrate their scam by killing a Russian reformer, who wanted to prevent private looting of Soviet-era assets, such as oil operations. He assassinated the reformer and his wife in a Berlin hotel, and made it look as though the wife had killed her husband, and then herself.

So, he remembers all this, while evading capture by the CIA and assassination by a henchman of the Russian oil millionaire, who is still alive and ready for the next sequel by movie's end.

All the car scenes and chase scenes are great! I've never read the books, but Marie's death serves an important purpose in the movie; when I saw Bourne trying to resuscitate her underwater was the first clue that he had superhuman powers. They don't discuss that explicitly in Bourne Supremacy, though it must be significant in Bourne Identity, which I'm now eager to rent.

****SPOLIERS BELOW****

Ok here is the 411 on the Bourne Supremacy. Bourne and Marie are living the quiet life in Goa, India. About two years have gone by and Bourne is regaining memories of his past. One is of his first mission which he cannot fully remember. Meanwhile a Russian assassin named Kirill kills a CIA agent and a man attempting to sell the agency info on a mole inside the agency and frames Jason Bourne for the murders. He then goes to Goa and attempts to kill Bourne but kills Marie instead. Bourne, now pissed goes after the CIA. In the end he is able to clear his name in the murders and there is a awesome car chase between Bourne and Kirill in Moscow at the end. Bourne wins and Kirill is left barely alive. Bourne remembers his first mission and visits the daughter of the couple he killed telling her that her mother did not kill her father and then committ suicide, that he killed her parents. As a piece offering Pamela Landy, the CIA agent after Bourne the entire movie, tells Bourne that his real name is David Webb.

Going to see it tonight!!:slinkie: I've been waiting all week for this...which is probably why the week has gone by so slow.:goof:

Saw pics of Matt and Franka from the premiere and they both looked really good. Matt especially looked so hot!!

Can't wait for tonight!:D

I have been waiting for the sequel for a long time! Finally! I liked the first one a lot. So exciting. And I like Matt Damon. Hope this one is as good as the first one. :)
