The Bob Next Door - Episode Discussion

Yeah tonight`s episode isn`t exactly for the squimish types. Personally i thought that it was a pretty good return for Sideshow Bob and it is one of his best schemes in the last few years. Kelsey Grammar was excellent as usual. Now if TPTB could get his very lovely and talented daughter Spencer to guest star on a future episode where she plays Sideshow Bob`s long lost daughter, who develops a crush on Bart much to the chagrin of Bob.

I think the John Travolta-like officer sounded more like Vinnie Barbarino.

I had to do some investigation. Ned mentions four states in The Simpson Movie...
Ned Flanders: Look at that, you can see the four states that border Springfield: Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky!

I loved the episode.
Every thing about it. I mean yah the switching face thing was gross but I can get over that. I Laughed more than I did in a few years.
Than again, did any one know notice how obssesed Bob's become with Bart? Guy neeRAB a hobbie LOL.

Yeah, I loved the wide range of accents that all the officers had going on. I didn't notice that one sounded like John Travolta, I'll have to listen for that if I rewatch it some time.

Yeah, apparently the five corners was mentioned at one point. I had forgotten about it, but with 500 episodes that's pretty easy to do.

On another site, I heard someone say that it seemed as if the other four included a southern state, Minnesota and New Jersey. :D

I forgot to mention the Five Corners scene. Didn't Ned previously mention a place where you could see all the states that border Springfield?

I was laughing when Bart and Bob were jumping around the five corners, just so Bob wouldn't be charged with an out-of-state murder. And then one of the arresting officers sounded like John Travolta.
