I found it scary when I first watched it... I still do! Definitely one of the scariest films I've watched.

I really enjoyed that film up until

the reveal scenes, when the identity of the killer is discovered, and it switches from the first-person view to the third-person view. That ruined the entire premise of the film, I completely lost the sensation that I was actually 'watching' this unfold and instead it became your regular run-of-the-mill horror. Disappointing.

Scarily overrated for sure but still a great early example of how the internet can be used to get people interested in your little low budget movie.
