the blair witch project - scary or not?

Maybe you shouldn't insult people because they allowed themselves to be taken in by the film. If you're going to watch it and from the outset you are in a state of mind where you will not let it affect you, then it won't.

Thankfully, I was in the former, and I did get scared. :D :o

An insult? I was stating an opinion. The film did not scare me and I watched BWP with an open mind - and I thought when the film started I would be crapping myself but as BWP progressed, apart from the way it was filmed, I just grew bored with it.

Some films do scare me, but BWP was not one of them.

Edit....

Fair enough, some people do get far more scared that others. I remember watching Jaws first time round and that terrified me - same goes for The Exorcist and A Clockwork Orange. Child's Play (the Hammer film, not Chucky) crapped the hell out of me when I watched it.

Yes, you have to use your imagination - but there are times when some films just dont scare you like you want them to. BWP was one for me....

Fair enough, I just felt that when you said 'you couldn't believe how people could be scared by it', then it can be taken as an insult to the people who were scared, and then feel as if they are inferior to you. :)

I wish they done Blair Witch 3 which was rumored since 2001, maybe before 2001, i think it was around when the second one was in the cinema.
