The Black Box

I have a 1998 Intruder 800 and on the back right behind the sissy bar is a black box that has some hoses running into it. I think it is some type of emission box. Is there a kit that I can get to remove all of this?

This is the emmisions control canister found on California models only. You can remove it. Take the two hoses that go to it and plug them into a plastic vacuum "T" from the auto parts store, leaving the third hole of the 'T" open. Tuck it all under the seat and remove the box from the sissy bar.
