obvious even to a child? we dont stone teens to death when they talk back... we dont sell our daughters, we dont buy slaves... women arent the property of their husbands... etc

when it comes to RELIGION, why do we deny the obvious?

You notice that human nature remains the same and is constant in every generation. I mean what? Have the nature of children today become better than the ones in ancient times that they are now saints? And juvenile kids today are empowered in some societies to tell parents how to behave by law.

What if no books about man from the past ever existed. I mean you did not even know ancient cultures existed. What guide do we use to behave today in society for humanity as a whole?

I suppose in the end for some species like yours, monkeys, it didn't do any harm did it.

It was obvious to me as a child, but children have trouble with issues of faith that adults find simple. Adults can deceive themselves, but children don't see a way to do that.

Yes, it's obvious to a child. But religion teaches children to unlearn the obvious.

Because people have forgotten the simple fact that religion's purpose is to serve US, not the other way around.

Wow what rock have you been under, child abuse and murder of children is rampant in this world, the selling of daughters particularly in the asian countries is booming, and the trafficking of humans or ( slaves ) is out of control. So instead of equating the bible to something ancient, compare your thinking and understanding. The bible is relevant, it is now as it was then.

i realized that religion was nonsense when i was 3
my mom told me about god and i told her she was crazy
