But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
How do you explain this comforter(Holy Ghost-Holy Spirit) that Jesus said he would send to his followers to bring back to their remembrance all that Jesus said to his followers when he was here on earth? Do you think that at Pentecost when 120 disciples had Holy Spirit in the form of fire was this helper? Is that why all 120 were able to heal, raise the dead, cast out demons,& speak tongues(different languages) ????
This Holy Ghost was & is not God, it's an active force(God's power), the helper(comforter) has been with Gods people(the followers of Christ) since the out pouring of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
What does Jesus say about his Father, he says "for MY FATHER is GREATER than I(Jesus)
How does any Bible student not under stand that there is a Father(Jehovah), a Son(Jesus Christ), & the Holy Spirit(Jehovah's active force).
Acts 28:6 & John 1:1 have EXACTLY the same wording, but at Acts it says "a God" & John says "God". Strong's Lexicon Concordance brings this out. John 1:1 was scribed without putting in the vowel "a", this is very easy proved, why don't you look it up?
Please use the Bible in your answer, opinions are not considered, niether is the I think so's!
If this is the case Rev Marvin, why do you believe in the trinity?
Rene O The point?--There are two(2) spoken of. Your trinity doctrine don't fit. One can not give up there live, and then resurrect themself. Do research-God has never died!!!
Tallulah True true, Holy Spirit is what reveals all truth as spoken of at John 14:26, but then that disproves your opinion that the Holy Spirit is God or a thrid part, you fall under 2 Co 4:4. Notice I use the Bible, not opinions!
SJC First answer that uses scripture, & the Holy Spirit is NOT a Person, IT'S an active power(The power of GOD)
