i find it very questionative on what the best way to cycle a fish tank.
Some say using the "pioneers", fishless cycling, and invert cycling (the one most dont hear about).

Well... i cycle my tank the "plant" way. Also the invert way.
For example, for a 30 gallon i just did... i fill it with water, gravel, filters (i like using twice the needed amount too) and i start adding iron and potassium. Sometimes i overdose on the amount since theres no fish. I start adding my plants. Then after a week and a half, i do a 20% water change to remove some of the unwanted iron and potassium. Then i move some ghost shrimp in... Another week and a half i do a 10% water change. I start putting Mystery snails in. Another week and a half, i do another water change and start putting fish in.

do you think this is an effective way of cycling a tank?
