Hi, so i've owned a Motorola Flip Phone in the past, but i dropped it a dozen times. Now it only works if i put it on SpeakerPhone...

Im buying a Sony Ericsson 610, to replace it, along with a cover...

My question is: Whats the cheapest solution for transfering data from that phone to my computer..
 
i would go on eBay and search for "sony ericsson 610 data cable". it probably comes with software, but if not, you can download software for free from cingular.com

though this is definately the easiest route...the CHEAPEST route-as requested would be to find somebody close to you who has the cable and software on their PC and wouldn't mind hooking you up :). I'd say a nice Large Iced Cappuccino would be thanks enough?

oops., I forgot...doesn't the 610 have BT? or am I thinking of another model? You could find a laptop with built-in BT or even a PC with a dongle (but chances slim unless you know., gadget boys' PC) and that would work nicely also (just need to find the software).
