I know that everyone's definition of "best" is different, but what I'm looking for is a good combination of looks, functionality, quality and features under $400. Please give out your best suggestions, thanks very much.

P.S. I'm switching to Cingular so GSM phones only.

Well, Do you want a smartphone, ppc, or regular phone? Qwerty? What features are most important to you? All this is necessary in order for anyone to answer your question.

I just want a regular phone, the most important feature to me is probably the overall quality of the phone, I don't want something that's going to break in a month and have to make me go through a bunch of hassles to get a replacement, other than that I guess having a good screen and a good camera is a good plus, style is pretty important too, either it's a chic style or just a really unique style doesn't matter, as long as it's fairly stylish. Oh and call quality is very important too, my ex-gf's w600i sucked because there was so much ambient noise I couldn't hear what the heck she was saying 80% of the time, it is, afterall, a phone, so having good call quality is essential.
