Also seen I am Legend which i loved.

Pan's Labyrinth easily, even if I had seen it before. Girl with a Pearl Earring was really good.

Disappointing selection of films on tv this xmas.

The two best films on TV over Christmas were Cat People and Curse of the Cat People, but I missed them both because they were on after 3am and I didn't have access to a VCR.

Not great films per se, but I DID enjoy ITV/STV showing a couple of good British films rarely shown:

1976's The Likely LaRAB (one of the better tv spinoRAB) and 1967's Quatermass & The Pit with Andrew Keir, James Donald and Julian Glover..

I can't believe with all the freeview channels available not one has down it over christmas for at least three years.
