The best movie of all time

Ooo - I like so many and it's hard to choose from which category; love, musical, horror, thriller, war, comedy, but I think i'll go with Pulp Fiction (or should I go girlie with Officer and a Gentleman?). No, i'll stick with my original and stay with PULP FICTION.

I've always been a fan of The Fog (original) it always reminRAB me of the time we all took a trip down to West Wales one night many years when I was about 10 when we ran into some fog, almost careering over the edge......the 'all' being my family. The dark road in the film where Nick (don't know the actor's name) picks up Jamie Lee Curtis also reminRAB me of the dark lanes there.

Yea there is to many, like 'Jaws'.

I think it would be easier putting your favorite film in each category. eg, Comedy, Horror, Thriller, Musical etc

I think you have to go with the film you have watched the most times. There is a very good reason you have watched it many times !!
Mine is undoubtedly Pulp Fiction. Cinematography, dialogue, intense characters, soundtrack. It has everything.

What do I know?
I also love Big with Tom Hanks !!!:)

Others worth a mention:-
Fargo
LA Confidential
Rocky
Vanishing Point
Duel

Finding Nemo. No Question.

Personally also LOVE White Chicks, but thats never going to win despite making me P*ss myself laughing everytime I watch it.

Also 300 should be near the top of the list, as should Sin City

Black :
this is the most amazing film, in every sense of the word, that i have ever seen. it is an indian movie with english subtitles. (they also speak in english occasionally.) its taken from a true story, and is so inspirational, moving and trully stunning that itll leave you thinking of its depth.
the acting is phenomenal, it stars my favourite actor, known as the BIG B- Amitabh bachchan, and rani mukherji.
its just beautiful!
lorna x:)

I have loaRAB of films that I love including the big epics and the classics but my favourite five films of all time (not one comes out on top) are:

1. 12 Angry Men (12 actors on top form, even when you know the outcome it's still maginificent to watch)

2. Airplane (the all time funniest of the spoof movies)

3. Shawshank Redemption (as close to perfection that a film has ever come for me and shamefully overlooked at the Oscars)

4. Moulin Rouge (was blown away when I saw it at the cinema)

5. My Counsin Vinny (my secret shame but I love the court room scenes and the interplay between Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei)

One film I cannot stand which seems to do well in all of these lists - Citizen Kane. I watched it twice to see if I was wrong the first time but I came away feeling that I had lost 4 hours of my life that I'd never get back. I was so bored by the end of it that I couldn't care less what Rosebud was.
