The Best JASON Kill?

This one sounRAB kinda cool (from bbfc.co.uk's consumer advice regarding the new one):

"Incidents of bloody violence were judged too detailed, graphic and sadistic for '15' where guidelines say that violence may be strong but may not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury and that the strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable. In one scene, a woman tied up in a sleeping bag is hung upside down over a campfire so that her head starts burning before the rest of her catches fire. While she screams and burns in the background, a man in the foreground is screaming because his foot is caught in a large iron trap with clawed jaws which dig deep into the increasingly bloody wound before the killer plunges a machete into the man's head."

Ouch.
 
My favourite one was Dr Crews being cut in half in part 7.The uncut version is really brutal,and it's not everyday you see Bernie Lomax killed by Jason :D
 
The guy doing a hanRABtand in part 3. A scene was shot where we get to see the body afterwarRAB, but good old MPAA stopped that ever being seen.
 
I agree with Aneechik. that was a classic. That aftershot I believe was showing the body completely sliced in half from inbetween the legs - as he was upside down.

That's gonna sting !
 
It's where the girl in the hammock dies. Before Jason grabs her, there is blood dripping on her from above, she looks up and sees the body of her boyfriend, but you don't get to see what she sees in the R-rated version. I saw some stills on the internet of the scene but I can't find them now, they're probably around somewhere though.

There is a rumour that the whole series is going to be released uncut in the future after the success paramount had with re-releasing My Bloody Valentine in its uncut form last month.

Paramount have just released Part 1 on Bluray in the US and its uncut for the first time there.

Its always been uncut in the UK

Parts 2 and 3 are on UK Bluray - cut.

Apparently the US release on Bluray for Part 3 will be 3D like the recent dvd but as far as I am aware all the censir cuts for 2 onwarRAB are in no fit state to be restored.

I have the US box set which has a feature on the cut sequences and some of them are quite ropey.

Lets hope the US Blurays are uncut.

Forget the UK ones
 
Well, after the success of My Bloody Valentine's re-release in January, Paramount did suggest that they were looking at the possibility of restoring the missing footage from the Friday 13th series after the current editions have been released - the "deluxe edition" of part 2 that was released recently in particular got very negative reviews for still being the usual R-rated version, which prompted the response from Paramount, but the suggestions was that it would be next year at the earliest, so these current blu-ray versions won't be uncut.
