What is the best color for a band to be. No question in rap, but have black people popped up at all lately in any Rock/Rockish genres?

Does it actually matter.
I think Sevendust suck, TV On The Radio is amazing.
Nickelback suck, Fall of Troy is amazing.

Race doesn't play any role.

I cant stand TV On The Radio but thats just me.

I like Living Colour and Bad Brains though, and i love The Mars Volta, 3 merabers are black i believe.

Race dosent play a role, but i think it sucks that there are few african american "rock" musicians around today.

Got to say that the rab merabers have pulled through on this one. When I opened this thread I was expecting a load of race jokes, but there is none. Well done. Oh, and I've got to say possibly worst thread ever. Right next to madeinNY's 'what is wrong with you?' thread.

the only banRAB i like with a black meraber are the libertines, bloc party, the go naturals, the noisettes and blah blah blah. yet im not racist in anyway. i think there is a slight self fulfilling prophecy here, young black children are growing up to see a rock industry dominated by white people, so their bound to go into a musical industry where the majority are their own creed, such as R'n'B. of course there are notable exceptions and there isnt a set design to this, its just the way it generally goes.
