I know, everyone knows its the best hands down.
Arguably the HTC Desire should have taken the place of the Nexus One. It's difficult to call though as they don't say what a "feature" is. Is SenseUI, optical trackball, more memory, etc? Versus a trackball with an LED, noise cancelling microphone, etc?
Legend for style - yes. Single block of aluminium is just sexy.
Sony Xperia X10 for multimedia - yes. Huge screen, lovely. Shame the Samsung Galaxy S isn't out yet with it's amazing graphics chip.
Samsung Galaxy Portal is best for AR? Interesting about the AR on the homescreen. Didn't know that. Won't that suck power? Arguably there are better AR apps out there which can run on any Android device. So surely one with a good camera, big screen, and fast processor would be better? N1 or Desire.

Guys all of You are correct simms & grant sure for a pair of Power users like you guys just imagine you guys can make the today screen and interface mush rich than sense and best of all just fit exactly to your needs and taste.but In other way extorian is also more correct why just think in the normal user the more common user just for example from every 1000 normal user of is 1 power user or maybe need mush more normal user to find a Power user.and remember the normal user just use the device in the more easy way not too mush complications and sense is wonderful for them.
I can't comment as I've never used it for more than a few seconds. But, you have the OPTION to use it (you can turn it off), and many people do like it. So surely having the option in the bigger picture is a plus?
Edit: SenseUI also has some other advantages, like better Exchange sync.
