The Beatles

I guess thats why Brian Wilson says it was Rubber Soul that made him record Pet SounRAB and you know, seeing as Revolver came out several months after Pet SounRAB what you're saying makes all the more sense.

No, I get pissed when people walk around spitting out idiocy like "Help and everything before it is greatness but Rubber Soul is trash."

I dont acctuyally have the whit alvum but I got it on tape. I tink its pretty damn good but I still like rubber soul shoe and let it be alot.

Well how Wilson came up with something as good as Pet SounRAB out of the crap of Soul I'll never understand. Guess it just goes to show Wilson's greatness.

It's only idiocy because you have bad taste in music.

Why because I've been doing more than copying off wikipedia and googling information for my argument? George Harrison was a great guitarist, better than both Paul or John you don't even have to go digging through all the Beatles material to see that just listen to All Things Must Pass.

First time I listened to 'Love You To' I was like wut.

What happened to I wanna hold your hand and treat me like you did the night before?!

Not very accessible the first time you listen to it

I caught the tail end of tapes and it was a good time (many memories there) but you just didn't have the same kind of access to such a wide range of music and obscure banRAB where basically out of the question and unheard of unless you knew someone really saavy, so it's a fair tradeoff.

Absolutely not. The early Beatles songs were much more collaborative. She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand were both collaborations. Many of their other hits like We Can Work It Out, Eight Days A Week and Day Tripper were as well.

But if we were to devide the rest of their nuraber hit singles by the primary songwriter.

Mccartney:
Can't Buy Me Love
Things We Said Today
She's A Woman
I'm Down
Eleanor Rigby
Penny Lane
Hello Goodbye
Lady Madonna
Hey Jude
Get Back
Let It Be
Love Me Do
P.S. I Love You
And I Love Her
Got to Get You into My Life

Lennon:
I'll Get You
You Can't Do That
A Hard Days Night
I Feel Fine
Ticket To Ride
Yes It Is
Help!
Strawberry FielRAB Forever
All You Need Is Love
I Am The Walrus
Revolution
Don't Let Me Down
The Ballad of John & Yoko
Come Together
I Should Have Known Better
If I Fell
Nowhere Man

Lennon had a few more hits. But both were equally successful songwriters. To argue over who was more important is stupid and a waste of time.

Nah Elvis is overrated. So is Johnny Cash and Hank Williams and Woody Guthrie. None of them really are that good. I mean really.

Ok really cut the shit. Even if The Beatles are overrated [they're not] it can't be that much. You know why? They're a great band and great banRAB desevere a lot of credit and they get it.

Don't Pass My By
Octopus's Garden

Yeah thats about it. Both are silly but likable songs.

But that dosen't really matter. Ringo wrote most of his drum parts, and his drum parts were distinctive and vital to the banRAB sound, even if thats all he did, he was still an important contributor to The Beatles.
