The Beatles

After hearing Pet SounRAB, The Beatles were so impressed they made Sgt. Peppers. And when Wilson heard that album, he was gutted.
The beginning of the end for Wilson.

Lets throw in Ray Davies, if we are name dropping.
Every bit as good, half as recognised.

Well it just means you are in the minority. The White album and Abbey Road are great rock albums too! And it's kind of interesting that hard rock guitarist for the hard rock group Mahagony Rush said in an online interview that he's always hated The Rolling Stones. But he still likes and listens to The Beatles,The Doors and Jimi Hendrix etc. And Dave Nivarro from Jane's Addiction said in Guitar World in 1991 and 1996 that he has always hated The Rolling Stones.

:stupid: I said that Wikipedia was only one of many sources etc! I gave a lot of other strong great sources of information besides Wikipedia and almost all of my information came from other better sources so no I didn't fail anything except to get through to your biased close mind!

I completely agree w/ gpackin. Rubber soul and revolver own all. behind that i'd say abbey road and help!

i love blasting I Want You (She's So Heavy) and then Here Comes The Sun right after. it's such a good corabination. i want you (she's so heavy) is such a heavy depressing song and then it randomly enRAB and u don't want to move or anything and then here comes the sun comes in and releases all the tension. it's so fun.

really, what better evidence than John Lennon and Paul McCartneys own worRAB are there, that they had ended their songwriting partnership before Beatlemania? After all, they are the parties in the partnership, they have no reason to lie about it, and yet they have claimed it was over.

Sgt Pepper is obviously the most over rated album of all time , full of horrible twee nursary rhymes put to music. The White Album would be in for a shout if half of it wasn`t over indulgent crap.

It`s obviously Revolver by miles.

John Lennon was a homosexual, and yes, Yoko Ono was a transvestite, this will please crowquill I am sure, as it will justify a large nuraber of masterbation sessions his little *** ass has had.

franscar i agree with what you are saying about their early stuff, black music did influence them hugely. but even with that in mind you cannot say with their later stuff they did not change the face of music and write a new chapter in music history with the magical mystery tour and sergeant pepper. their pyschedelic stuff was completely original and the only reason it was not unique was because so many others copied it.
