This has just been on C4 in a 16:9 aspect ratio. I have the DVD which is in 4:3. However doing a side by side comparison, the DVD does not appear to be missing any picture at the sides.

It would appear that C4 have cropped it which would be unusual for them.

Does anyone know the ratio in which this film was actually shot?

It is just that the DVD and C4 versions seem to have the same width, but the DVD has more height.

I wonder if the film was shot 4:3 and then matted to 1:75 for its cinema release; and the DVD is the un-matted version.
