I tend to pronounce your way more often but my father pronouces it the other way.

That's how they intended it; I think I read that somewhere once.

But as people have already stated, it's way more fun to just drone the hell out of that O))) in real life.

I watched this the other week. I highly recommend seeing that if you're even remotely interested in the genre. It made me like Faust even MORE! Shame they never mentioned Mooney of Can, though.

I pro-nounce it aux-teh-cruh in my head (similar to the -re ending you speak of), as if the word were French. Out loud I say aw-tek-er.

I always feel like a dummy for not knowing how to pronounce people's last names. For the longest time I thought John Frusciante was John Froosh-e-ant-e. :laughing: And J. Mascis was always J. Mas-es, never pronounced the "c".

The worst of all is how long I thought the Arctic Monkeys's 'Brianstorm' was 'Brainstorm'... :
