The Band Name Pronunciation Thread

I think TEHR-uh sounRAB right, but the Melos part I guess I say more like the beginnings of "melon" and finish it with "los", as opposed to the long A in May.

Admit it, you've came across a band you wouldn't be be able pronounce even if your life depended on it. So if you still have extreme difficulty pronouncing Sigur Ros, or can't figure out how you would ever tell someone about !!!, or even are still quite unclear about how the **** you'd say Autechre, just ask here.

I can't figure out how to pronounce Meshuggah. Care to help, rabers?

You've never laughed at a mispronunciation until you've heard someone pronounce "faux pas" as "Fawks Pass". I've even heard Louisianians do it, who are predominantly named with French sounding last names like Domangue (doh-mang) and Thibodeaux (tib-a-doh).

Speaking of French sounding, crazy ass Louisianian names, it took me the longest time to learn this one: Authement. I still don't know if I'm sayin' it right. They told me it was pronounced "Otto-mont"

This. I didn't pay attention in the original post that the emphasis was on the beginning and end (and as dankrsta just stated, she didn't even mean to :p: ).
