Brokeback Mountain, Crash, The Constant Gardener and Walk the Line are four of the best films I've ever seen so i'm really torn over who I want to win all the awarRAB.

I'd like to see The Constant Gardener do well to make up for its lack of nominations at the Oscars. I think I'd have to go for Reese Witherspoon for best actress, with a toss up between Heath and Joaquin for best actor.

I think must be a couple of hours delay as they were showing the last couple of stars going in on the early evening news (one around 6pm) on the beeb.

Here's what I'd LIKE to win....

Film: Brokeback Mountain

Director: Ang Lee - Brokeback Mountain

Actor:Joaquin Phoenix - Walk The Line

Actress: Reece Witherspoon - Walk The Line

Supporting Actor: Jake Gyllenhaal - Brokeback Mountain

Supporting Actress: Thandie Newton - Crash

Outstanding British Film: Pride & Prejudice

Film not in the English language: Kung Fu Hustle (China)

...but I bet they don't

Haven't seen Capote though I've been told it is terrific. I thought B Mountain and Walk the Line were great and I was sorry George Clooney and Good Night and Good Luck didn't get anything as that was really good and different

Heresy!

I'd rather watch him than any other presenter I can think of, even if his jokes seem predictable. He's still head and shoulders above soneone else, even if they said the same stuff.

Wow, if anything I think the British talent missed out last night! I must admit, I got the feeling that Keira Knightley's absence from the Actress shortlist was taken personally by certain people in the P&P camp.

I'm glad Thandi Newton came up trumps for her performance, but I certainly didn't sense any pro-British bias in the award selection... maybe I'm missing something?

I felt sorry for Mr Clooney. Ah well, he looked like he had a good night nonetheless. ;-)

it was a terrible night for the british especially The Constant Gardener! I'm surprised baftas didnt reward british talent because few have a chance when it comes to oscars and goden globes.

I don't think it would be fair to let the British win just because it is a British ceremony. That would be biased and total bull. The winners are the ones that clearly rise above the others in the category, being the most deserving and the best. And if they happen to be American then so be it. All of the nominees had to have been good to be nominated, but it's based on the best overall talent, not nationality.

Weren't there a couple of 'special' British categories anyway? And didn't the stupid Wallace and Gromit win over The Constant Gardener? What a waste of BAFTA!
