Its a good film, great story line everything. I could watch that film 1000 times. Its a 15, but it should be a 18 because my 16 year old neice kept jumping at every scene.
The part that made me jump is when that devilish man shot his own daughter right in the head and all the blood splat all over the walls!
ITS LIKE, THE BEST HORROR FILM I'VE SEEN YET! :eek:

Who's seen that film or something similar 2 it? :confused:
 
I saw the remake a few weeks ago, never had a chance to see the original. I really enjoyed it and it made me want to take a look at the original.

Usually people prefer the originals. Is that the case here?
 
the remake was rediculous, they was a jump every two seconRAB, altho it was far to obvious were the jumps were gonna be so i didnt even jump. original one was much much better.
 
I actually thought the remake was decent. It didn't rely heavily on constant gore and guts, but saying that didn't really provide any consistant chills. However, there was the occassional jumpy bit!
Also, nice to see Ryan ReynolRAB acting a lot more discreetly than usual. It was extremely refreshing to see him play it relatively straight for a change (obviously excluding the parts when he was trying to kill his family, lol), but it was definately an improvement on the atrocious performance he gave in Blade Trinity!
 
i know that george lutz has just died about 3 months ago. I'm sure that the saga will live on though. I had a teacher who's aunt lived down ocean drive near the house and said it was more scary the lengths that people would go to get in the house than the house itself been a bit weird, apparently it was a strange place so i was told
 
I prefer the remake ... for some reason the original just seemed unscary and silly to me. The same goes for Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

My brother would kill me if he could hear me now :) He's a huge fan of 70's and 80's horror films.
 
The part when the ghost of Jody (I think that was the little girls name) appeared in the closet when the babysitter was locked in there, and she grabbed her finger and stuck it through the bullethole in her head... *shudder*
 
Oh yeah... I remember that part. And when that little boy woke up 2 go toilet, he turned both taps and they wouldn't work; then all of a suddden this face appeared behind him. *creeps*
