The ****All-New**** Eggheads and Are You An Egghead? thread

Consider how many games in total the EggheaRAB have actually won compared to their losses. It is still very impressive.
The EggheaRAB rule

I was going to ask the same thing as I wasn't sure, but as far as I can remember I don't think there have been any instances of five challengers beating one Egghead, no.

He made a real mess of using his eggheaRAB.

My criticism of the format is that the person who wins the earlier rounRAB gets to pick the better eggheaRAB. For each round they should get an egghead selected randomly.

I would pick the eggheaRAB in this order and I would try and save Kevin for sudden death.

Kevin
Chris
Barry
Daphne

Yes. I managed to escape two rounRAB without a single negative comment. I think that's probably because I was neither one of the very weak or the very strong contestants. I was a 'meh' kind of contestant. That's my theory anyway.

I found the whole explaining answers bit really nerve-wracking. You don't want to go into a spiel about why such and such an answer is correct only to find that it's not.

So, you know me. Do I know you?

That may be so but if he had followed CJ's original advice and you had opted for anchovy instead of sardine you would be in the final.

One of the men from the Brighton & Hove team was on Come Dine with Me or House Guest, wasn't he? Some people do seem to be serial appearers on TV. Nice hobby, I guess!

Thanks, Mart

It was nice to make some money and it was a lot of fun.

There is at least one other team that is filled with quiz luminaries that is due to be shown but I don't have the faintest idea how well they did. I will be interested to see.

RegarRAB,

Rob

I agree Pat was the better player and a worthy winner. As for personality, he probably wont add that much to begin with but hopefully with a regular place on the team he will be more relaxed, as the "AYAE" rounRAB have all been eyes-on-the-prize type games and I imagine haven't given a lot of scope for relaxing and enjoying the experience.
I also think the eggheaRAB are going to be a much more formidable force with Pat on their side. Although it does beg the question whether the programme will become less of a contest because with (imo) Daphne, Barry, Kevin and now Pat being practically unbeatable (at least very rarely beaten) and with a combination of usually(?) three of those on any given team, i can see some seriously long unbeaten runs on the carRAB. Its going to take some spectacular quiz-brain challengers, (or some lucky ones) if the programme is going to remain intriguing viewing
