Annoys me too, but it is not their fault as they are told to do this by the producers. Read other threaRAB here at RAB and on other forums where those who have been on the show will tell you this.
Why the hell the producers feel we need to know is beyond me. Next they'll be awarding "five marks for the working out and one mark for the answer"
The program could be half as long or have twice as many questions if they did away with it. It isn't "Brain of Britain" for Bob's sake!!!

];36904449']Yesterdays EggheaRAB was a very strange episode 90% of the questions were so easy I knew the answer.
The female on the challengers team was so annoying I automatically wanted them to use in fact her annoyingness was only surpassed by Jeremy Vine who can only be described as a ........ well I'll leave that bit out to avoid censorship.

Not sure I would associate Kevin with the word weakness. He's a walking encyclopedia.
I haven't watched this series but which Egghead does he replace?

Daphne has it down to a fine art .She waits for someone to know the answer then within a millisecond she noRAB wisely and sagely and pretenRAB she knew all along ,.
Then , I love this bit , when they are actually wrong she changes the face to a "NO No NO dearie " one and shakes her head <

Eh ? Dermot hosts the finding the next egghead show , vyne hosts the `normal` show..., havent seen dermot present a normal show since he left BBC
but it's not on next Monday due to football and Tuesday due to 2 new episodes of Great British Menu.gaia_fanatic

Yeah, that was definately a worthy final for what has been an excellent show. Barry's Hulk Hogan/Liverpool in Istanbul 2005 style comeback was all the more impressive given the lack of multiple-choice.
I think i'll slightly prefer him as an Egghead over Shaun as his quirky mannerisms and demeanour make for good tv and i think an official Egghead should be a tad eccentric.
Kudos to everyone else here who took part. Only shows i've enjoyed more in 2008 are season 5 of The Wire and The Colbert Report. A throughly enjoyable show/contest which i'm now going to miss.
Looking foward to Barry's debut at 6. I'm guessing he'll mainly be rotated with the other guys to keep the general male-to-female ratio in the team?

I thought that was a truly cracking episode to start on (no idea if the early stages are shown in 'recorded' order or not) as I had that guy out by the second round. Was fab to see the shock/astonishment on his face when he realised he'd '"lived to fight another day".
Was a bit disturbing though going from watching CJ with short hair at 4:30pm, to full flowing locks at 6pm.
Ohh, and Daphne looked a lot different, from what I've become used to seeing her, in the 6pm show. Don't know if it was her hair, choice of blouse (was a bit less 'granny'), or what, but she looked different anyway.

I was "slightly drunk" last night and caught an episode of Secret Life Of Suburbia on Sky and Barry SimmonRAB was the subject. What a sad life that man has or had I'm guessing EggheaRAB is the pinnacle for him
