The acorn nuts keep coming loose on the brake caliper on my 04 Harley Davidson?

the front brake caliper nuts that secures the calipers to the forks keep coming loose, the mechanic says "Locktite" won't work cause of the heat the brakes produce.
How can i keep these acorn nuts tight, or do i have to carry tools with me and tighten them up every-time I ride?
I am worried that someday the caliper will fall off when I least expect it and lose my brakes, wreck and die!

hey jack couldn't e mail you so i would post here ... all motors will burn your hand when you touch them even cars that run at 195 degree with water cooling . your bike can go to 275 degree's get one of the oil temp plugs or go to your local hobbies store and they have for about 30 bucks a hand held infra red temp Gage you just point and shoot to get the temp

The last answer is correct except, DO NOT USE RED LOCTITE. That is unless you never want to remove your calipers. Use BLUE loctite, Red is PERMANENT
