The A Team Movie trailer, coming out summer

It doesn't look as completely dreadful as I was fearing. The only thing I really don't like is Bradley Cooper as Face. He looks too hard and not pretty enough for the character, who should have an angelic, innocent, boyish look about him. Bradley Cooper just doesn't look like someone who would melt a grandmother's heart.

Still, the rest of the cast look quite good, even Liam Neeson who I'd worried would be totally mis-cast.

I'll approach with caution, but it has more potential to be decent than I thought it would.

No Mr T? No Dirk Benedict? No Dwight Schulz? I can understand No George Peppard. I hope the others get some other role in the film. Especially Dwight he is a fantastic actor, that never really got a break besides the A-team. Still can't wait for the film. It'll probably be a complete car accident but in the case of the A-team that's a good thing :)

Dwight did have his recurring Star Trek TNG and Voyager roles and was also in Star Trek: First Contact. I think he's made a decent living from doing voice work for PC games and cartoons in more recent history. He's also been in more than enough demand for Trek conventions and signing events around the world to keep the bills from not being paid.

Have met him twice, and he's a really top bloke.

Will reserve judgement on the trailer until I can see a better quality copy. Although the film looks like it might at least be serviceable, I've still got it down as one of my likely box office turkeys for 2010.

Having wathced the trailer it's not dumb enough for me. Since when did BA Baracus start using phrases like "homie", next we'll see him saying "don't drink milk, drink vodka instead and have babies at 16 brappp!" They should have just kept the truck flipping that went on in every episode, Liam Neeson looks ok as Hannibal but the others don't seem to really fit that well! I'll probabaly go and watch this, but I already have a feeling that this is going dwn the Miami Vice route of being too serious and not having any comic relief. :(

This looks like total s**t. I can't see why anyone can think otherwise, it looks like a hastily cobbled together bunch of flat scenes, nothing looks gelled. I fear for Copley, he looked to be a promising actor, judging him by D9, but he seemed totally out of place here. Nope, not for me.

Where the hell is the theme tune!!??

I mean WHO at the studio decided that the trailer would not have the theme tune?

You cant have a trailer for the frigging A-Team movie and not have the most frigging well known theme tune of all time in it.

You can bet your ass they will have jazzed it up and JZ will be rapping to it.

I wanted so much for that trailer to be great, if anything it has annoyed me to the point of not wanting to see it in the cinema.
