...approx.1/4 mile drag race,? rolling start. This took place in1962 and I've been wondering lately how it could be. The Chev. was a 3 spd. column shift, 2 barrel carb.,4 door Family car and the Ford had a 4 barrel carb and a 3 spd. column shift also. The Chev.gained a car length in each gear. Did the GM Factory slip some Hot Configuration into this cheapy family car?
