The premiere is next Wednesday on ITV1 - a bit of a bummer that it's on ITV1, but it's too good to miss.

Just a reminder for any of you who haven't seen it, be sure to catch it, I thought it was extremely funny, and I've watched it many times on DVD. :D

Expect it to be edited to hell as its on at 9pm, and any other film with lots of language and sex jokes gets savaged at this time of the night on ITV.

Paddy :D

Well looks like this film will be replacing the British Comedy AwarRAB then on ITV1 which was due to air on this particular evening. (Happens to be my birthday too lol)

This film was released at the cinema in September 2005. So thats just two years and three months old and it is on ITV already. I thought a film had to be three years old to be shown on network tv.

There are two versions of this movie on DVD, one is censored and it was this one that I watched with my children (12+) and thought it was so funny that I would buy it for my 12 year old, it wasn't until I sat down to watch it with her I realised I had bought the uncensored version and I nearly had a heart attack. Needless to say it was switched off immediately and it's been put away in a safe place now :o

Not neccesarily, both Five and Channel 4 have shown films that were released in 2005 in the last couple of weeks. Channel 4 showed Mr and Mrs Smith while Five showed
xXx2 and Hitch. So I think they be allowed to show a film that is less than thre years old as Network premieres.

There are only 2 versions of this film and neither of them are censored, the theatrical version (which i assure you is not censored) and then the DVD version which is the 'Extended Edition' and runs 17 minutes longer (also, not censored). I don't know what you watched but there is definitely not a censored version of this film...unless you watched it on a plane of course.

And even then, i doubt that an airline would show a film like this, considering the pretty much constant strong language and sex references. Any edited version would be unwatchable and incomprehensible considering most of the funny bits revolve around sex (case in point: the "You're putting the pussy on a pedestal!" bit, which would definitely be edited on a plane).

Watch 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' instead, the Heroes S1 finale is very weak and rushed. I'm not even bothering with S2 because i was that underwhelmed by it.

Well I can assure you the version we watched originally wasn't as rude as the version we have on dvd. There was swearing and stuff yes but it was certainly less graphic. I will dig it out (all my dvRAB are boxed up while we decorate) later and give details if you like.

I stand corrected, the reason for my surprise was because I hadn't watched the movie originally, my sister had got it on demand (I think).

It's an okay movie - funny, but there are much funnier ones around starring the same crowd (I think Ron Burgundy leaves this for dead). Anyway, if anyone missed it, or wants it on DVD for posterity, play are selling it for
