There's always PM's! :eyebrows:

I love how oblivious Tony is when Virginia and Wolf come back from "gathering wood".

:sigh: I want to "gather wood" with Wolf...

Um... :look:

You know, it was supposed to be Clayface the Goblin who took up residence in the Swamp Witch's hut? But they changed it in the movie 'cause they got Warwick Davis to play Acorn -- so better to have the more famous actor (I do loves me some Warwick Davis) have more screen time.

 Yeah, he's kind of terrifying on the full moon. I just want to have dirty conversation with you about Wolf and Virginia umm...mating...but I can't do that on here

Hell, I'd like to spend a night hanging out with Wolf in the middle of the woods... Um... I said hanging out. :look: Who wouldn't want to see all those woodland creatures having their parties and liaisons and what-not?

But I'd run away if the full moon was out (not that it would help since he'd be able to sniff me out...)

I really wish we could have heard what Wolf was saying the the Gypsy boy as well. That would have been a great scene to watch

Awww... I loved this mini series! Has anyone else ever seen it? It's available on DVD :D

 No, we didn't.

I love the scene where Tony and Virginia are in the swamp, falling asleep while the mushrooms sing "A Whiter Shade of Pale".

I also love when Tony has to sing "Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves". I :lmao: every time.

And I want to know what Wolf was saying to the Gypsy Queen's grandson. "Just wolf stuff" doesn't cut it. SHARE WITH ME! :goof:

Welcome to the thread

We didn't think we'd attract anyone else would come and visit us

Thanks Julie, glad to see you over here. This thread is pretty much dead.

That's a great link, Chris!

I've got "Night Fever" on my iPod 'cause of 10K. And whenever it plays during my runs, I have visions of the trolls singing...

:bump:

Heres a video I made about Wolf/Virginia, I hope you all like.

Hey cool, thanks for bumping this thread up. I forgot I even made a thread for this  I also have this on DVD, it never gets old and I love Wolf, he cracks me up. I also love the song as well!

I love this mini series!! I remember it came out when I was in 8th grade, there were a lot of other mini series too, but this one always stood out at my favorite. Something about it was very cool in the whole fantasy land aspect of it. I loved the little opening with the city changing to the castle, and the song, very cool.

I just got it on DVD not too long ago and watched it for the first time in years, it a weekend cause it's so long. But I still loved it, I will admit that some parts were a little cheesy, but I thought the movie was great overall. Too bad they never had a follow up or something. :)

What a coincidence! I just watched this movie last night ;)

Look what I found! There aren't that many but it's some! :D

It was kind of inappropriate for kids now that I think about it, but aren't most fairy tales? And I don't think I ever knew that there was a book! I'll have to look into that

BTW, I love your screen name! Such a beautiful song! :sigh:

Awww Im glad you posted your thoughts about the movie John and I am also glad you enjoyed it  What parts were your favorite?

Well Jen I finished the movie a few days ago and actually had time to get online and post my thoughts. Your right it was a chick flick for sure but I actually enjoyed some bits of it. Tony was pretty funny and I like the actor who plays him. Wolf was just plain goofy but he was cool. Virgina was  All in all I thought the movie was pretty decent for a mini series

I caught this on TV one day a few years ago and loved it and went out and bought the dvds ^^ If you enjoyed the movie, you should try the book. From what I know it's no longer in print but you may be able to find it somewhere. It's wonderful. (and is it just me or is a lot of the movie entirely innappropriate for children? haha)
