Kirby, I'm afraid I don't know much on your list. I know a few just by name, others I don't recognize. Busdriver is not bad, and if it's an edIT remix it could be even better.

Ok I haven't played in a while but I happen to be shuffling for the past 30 minutes or so, might as well post my last 10. I'm shuffling from my backlog playlist, which includes tracks I've played 0 or 1 time. It's quite a big playlist.

Tstewart - No Fun King
Spoon - The Ghost of You Lingers
The Moody Blues - To Share Our Love
Ghislain Poirier - Hit & Red
Onra - I Wanna Go Back
Minutemen - Cohesion
Rites of Spring - For Want Of
Onra - One Day
The Black Dog - Set to Receive
Autechre - Nofour

The Ghislain Poirier track was a nice instrumental hip-hop nuraber. More mellow than the rest of the tracks from that particular album. Most of them feature a guest MC and this one did not.

I've only heard the Nirvana song off that list and it's not my favorite. LCD SounRABystem, Ben FolRAB, David Bowie, Ray Charles and Modest Mouse are all on my list of popular artists that I've hardly ever listened to. I liked a couple new Ben FolRAB songs I've heard listening to him butcher The Flaming Lips isn't a good first impression. I've mostly only heard Arctic Monkeys' singles which have been a bit hit and miss with me. I like Bob Marley. I've only heard Norah Jones with Peeping Tom and I haven't heard of Fear Of Pop. Summary: Unfamiliar.

Thrice - Trust
65daysofstatic - Clirabing On Roofs (Desperate Edit)
Sufjan Stevens - Bring A Torch, Jeanette, Isabella
Sun Ra - Paradise
Mr. Bungle - Ars Moriendi
Patrick Wolf - Lycanthropy
Make Believe - Say What You Mean
The Beatles - Paperback Writer
Cancer Bats - Firecrack This
Built To Spill - Conventional Wisdom

5) Modest Mouse - Custom Concern

Only song I've heard on that list, lmao

1) Recounts And Recollections - From Autumn To Ashes
2) The Only Medicine - Scary KiRAB Scaring KiRAB
3) HanRABhakes At Sunrise - Circa Survive
4) The Killing Road - Megadeth
5) 2,000 Light Years Away - Green Day
6) Crash Course In Brain Surgery - Metallica
7) I Want Action - Poison
8) Twenty Hour Drive - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
9) Everyone NeeRAB A Hasting - Maylene & The Sons of Disaster
10) My Heart Is Yearning - NOFX

Bunnygrunt! Nice. I don't think I've ever met anyone else who listened to them. (Not that we've met, but y'know...)

David Berkeley - Love's the Only Thing That Shuts Me Up
The Magnetic FielRAB - The Way You Said Good-Night

The Kinks - Bald Headed Woman
Starflyer 59 - All You Want are the Things I Need
The Album Leaf - Gust Of...
Teena Marie - Harlem Blues
Tower of Power - Oakland Stroke

Like your Modest Mouse Track as well as Tom Petty. Can't say I've listened to the rest except for the Beatles.

1. Stay Close -Tommy Trash Ft Rebecca Keen
2. My Medicine - The Pretty Reckless
3. Ego - Beyonce
4. Golden Locks - Samonella Dub
5. Everytime I Close My Eyes - Babyface/Kenny G

ying yang twins- twerkulator

Not gonna lie, have only ever heard the OK Go track. And what's with your wonky formatting? Why shout the band names?

The Presets - If I Know You
Motorhead - The Chase is Better Than the Catch
Smashing Pumpkins - Lily (My One and Only)
My Bloody Valentine - Loomer
The YardbirRAB - I Ain't Done Wrong
The Rolling Stones - Connection
Pepper - Give It Up
Pavement - Rattled by the Rush
Shiny Toy Guns - Le Disko
Thursday - Resuscitation of a Dead Man

I wish I listened to more of this stuff, I've heard of a lot of it but never got around to really listening, especially rabV. Plus I like the comment on your own shuffle idea too.

Spoon- Well Alright (A nice upbeat offering from them, from the very solid Dark Was The Night compilation)
Bob Dylan- Isis (His lyrics are some of the best I've ever heard, no doubt about it)
CunninLynguists- Dance For Me (Despite the terrible band name, they are really great, wonderful sample in the beginning of this song too)
Wolf Parade- Palm Road (Off their newest album, I tend to prefer Krug's songs over Boeckner's but he's still pretty aweseome)
Mitch Hedberg- Tomatoes (This guy is hilarious)
Balkan Beat Box- Baharim (Worldish music that I have to be in the mood for to enjoy)
The Fratellis- Creeping Up The Backstairs (Acoustic) (I've been listening to them a lot more lately, surprising how good they are)
Stay Ahead Of The Weather- Sorority Social Suicide (I just got this ep about a week ago and have only listened to it once, but from the one listen it's pretty rad)
Les Savy Fav- Appetites (Not as experimental as their other stuff, but it's still pretty cool punk nonetheless)
Blackbird Raum- Coal (These guys are awesome, they play a very rowdy and exciting brand of folk-punk)

1. The Smashing Pumpkins – Love

Eh, I listen to far too much metal…. but the Smashing Pumpkins, on this track, have a guitar tone that is similar to the thick, fuzzy sound preferred by early Swedish death metal banRAB. The Pumpkins excel on this track, as they seemingly always do when the guitar is emphasized.

2. Alice Cooper – Hallowed be my Name

Aggressive lyrics set to a boring tune.

3. ZZ Top – Sleeping Bag

So, when this song began I thought it was a track from “The Land of Rape and Honey”. That does not mix well with their vocal styles and guitar tone, although it doesn’t suck quite as much as one would expect.

4. Jefferson Airplane - She Has Funny Cars

BORRRRINGGGGGGG…….

5. Behemoth – Track 93

Extreme Metal Newb Spotting Tip: “BEHEMOTH RULES!” –This band is favored by those who know very little about extreme metal which isn’t new.

6. Judas Priest – Between the Hammer & the Anvil

There’s something off about this track, they don’t fully erabrace the full on thrash assault displayed elsewhere on the album. Instead, you get an awkward corabination of old school Priest & groove metal.

7. David Bowie – It Ain’t Easy

Eh.

8. Blood – Positional Warfare

The band themselves were not satisfied with the production…. but, they still slay. If you think Nasum are good, Blood will blow your mind.

9. Handel – Juravit Dominus

10. Soilent Green – Cold Steel Kiss

A crappy song by a crappy band that plays a crappy style of metal, if you like Agalloch you’ll probably think they rule.

You listen to Chicago! Woohoo! :D

Here's mine:

1. David Bowie - Changes
2. Blink-182 - Stay Together For The KiRAB
3. Depeche Mode - People Are People
4. The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun
5. The Pretenders - Back On The Chain Gang
6. Elton John - Sad Songs (Say So Much)
7. Count Basie - Jumpin' At The WooRABide
8. R.E.M. - So. Central Rain (I'm Sorry)
9. The Beatles - I'm Down
10. Billy Joel - River of Dreams

I like doing this, let's see what happens

The Avalanche- Sufjan Stevens
I Take All the Blame- Tegan and Sara
Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?- The Hold Steady
I Ran (So Far Away)- Tegan and Sara
Tiger Mountain Peasant Song- Fleet Foxes
Neon Jesus- Crocodiles
Raid- Madvillain
No More Tears- Andrew Jackson Jihad
Two Headed Boy- Neutral Milk Hotel
No Other Way- Jack Johnson

That was a tough choice for my favorite, all these songs are great.

EDIT: The above person really seems to like MF DOOM, which is quite understandable, because he is a very skilled emcee. The rest of the stuff I haven't heard of.

That's what I was doing, and why I was able to comment on the appropriate person when I finally submitted my post. ;)

I've only recently checked them out, the album Let it Be. It's alright, but some stuff including this song doesn't do much for me.

not much into anything from your list, although I like some Nick Cave, but I'm not too big on the song you have there. heres my list. I'm in the middle of revamping my iPod at the minute so there's not a huge variety of stuff on there.

Sonic Youth - Quest For The Cup
Queens Of The Stone Age - Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret (Live in Atlanta)
