The 10 Song Shuffle

Points for Astronautalis, Why? and Atmosphere, but I don't really like the others I know, I've heard of but never listened to Pinback, and never heard of Cowboy Mouth.

The Deceraberists- The Crane Wife 1 & 2
The Morning Benders- Loose Change
Kaiser Chiefs- Time Honoured Tradition

I play this game too much. It's a good time killer though. Yes my favorite song out of these is a Christmas song, but it's a gorgeous Christmas song and I can listen to it year around.

about as good of an outcome as I could have asked for concidering the 5000+ on my iPod haha. Got some punk, indie-ish, some underground hiphop, a metal song and even a mainstream rap track. Pretty consistant with my overall taste in music, quite varied IMO

I guess I'll review both:
6underground - I've listened to some David Byrne and Beck material, and I've heard of Modest Mouse. Never heard of the others, I believe.

crow t robot - Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys and JAMC; good stuff.

Here's my list:

Small Faces

The Strokes are alright, I Want To Vanish is one of Costello's best songs and Fluke are too cool for worRAB. The rest are pretty good too. Another great list there then.

Eddie Palmieri & Cal Tjader - Come an' Get It
Ludwig Van Beethoven - Symphony #4 In B Flat, Op. 60 - Adagio
Faith No More - Star AD
Rocket From the Crypt - Suit City
Oasis - Rockin' Chair
Grinderman - Electric Alice

Pavement - In The Mouth A Desert
Built To Spill - You Are
Pixies - Velouria

Ray Charles- A Fool For You
Junkie XL- Cities In Dust (feat. Lauren Rocket)
Tomorrow- Colonel Brown
Mark Knopfler- Speedway At Nazareth
Fear Of Pop- Fear Of Pop
Modest Mouse- Other People's Lives

Mmm I like this shuffle. Hard to choose, but Junkie XL did a great cover of Cities In Dust. The dancability...

Any shuffle that has At-The Drive in and Lady GaGa is alright with me. That's one of my favorite Iron & Wine songs too.

Turnaround (Bustagrimes Remix) - Devo
Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones
Clunk - Yo La Tengo
Sweet Lullabies - S.W.
Fingertips - Emiliana Torrinni
Hello It's Me - The Isley Brothers

9. Ben Goldberg- Jair- John Zorn
10. Check the Rhime- A Tribe Called Quest

mmm. that was a pretty good one. jazzy.

Not familiar with all of that but from what I do know: The Most Serene Republic are great, the Amelie soundtrack is pretty good, and I don't like the stuff from The National that I've heard. Sorry, that's about all I can say on that stuff.

The White Stripes - Prickly Thorn, But Sweetly Worn
Captain Beefheart (& His/the/whatever at the time Magic Band) - Sue Egypt
Kaada - Black California

Radiohead - A Punchup at a Wedding. (No No No No No No No No.)
Sonic Youth - Shoot
Aesop Rock - Dinner With Blockhead
The Residents - Birthday Boy
Broken Social Scene - Swimmers
Pearl Jam - Oceans

The Residents make up a pretty small fraction of my music so it's surprising to see them here twice. In my opinion I came up with a pretty good list of artists, but probably not great songs by them.

The Shins and Sonic Youth are cool...

Tegan and Sara- When I Get Up
Bears- Subtle Way
Conor Oberst- Sausalido
Bunnygrunt- Where Eagles Dare Part II
Madvillain- Strange Ways
The Morning Benders- Excuses
O Pioneers!!!- I Told You So
Bpos- I Am Not Home

Gorky's Zygotic Mynci- Her Hair Hangs Long

That Tegan and Sara song is one of my top 3 favorite songs ever, easiest choice I've ever made in this game.

I'm familiar with all those artists bar Brand new...and I respect them all too, in their own ways. Moby and Bruce in particular rock my boat, Eminem can be hit or miss for me though.

01. Weezer - Pig
02. PJ Harvey - City Of No Sun
03. Namie Amuro - Fast Car
04. Jennifer Lopez - Escapemonos
05. Razorlight - I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got
06. The Magnetic FielRAB - Very Funny
07. Pearl Jam - Jeremy
08. Indochine - J'Ai Demand
