The 10 Song Shuffle

I really like the Brian Wilson, CCR, and Tom Waits on this one. Noice.

The Smiths - This Night Has Opened My Eyes
David Bowie - Girls
Ol' Dirty Bastard - Hippa To Da Hoppa
Shpongle - When Shall I Be Free?
Radiohead - Vegetable
Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers - Morning Of Our Lives
Tegan and Sara - Living Room
Moby Grape - Lazy Me
Ben FolRAB Five - Song For the Dumped
Leroy Carr - Papa Wants a Cookie

The Pogues are always an amazing choice. Can't say I'm too familiar with the rest though.

1. "Joe Strummer" Cowboy Mouth
2. "Messenger" Pinback
3. "Not Only Nurab" Gin Blossoms
4. "Nothing But Sunshine" Atmosphere
5. "Durab Hummer" Why?
6. "Good" Better Than Ezra
7. "Meat Shakin' Woman" Blind Boy Fuller
8. "Cowboys from Hell" Pantera
9. "Lovefool" Cardigans
10. "Tight Rope" Astronautalis

I had to youtube all the banRAB. Way too much over the top (Black, death, goth, operatic?) metal for me.

Richard Cheese - Renegades of Funk
Forcefield - Untitled 4
Treepeople - PassworRAB Fail
Devo - Peek-A-Boo
Pretty Things - Midnight to Six Man
At the Drive-In - Speechless
Motion City Soundtrack - The Future Freaks Me Out
Tyondai Braxton - Hold Onto Distance
Coughs - Mail Order
Strapping Young Lad - Zodiac

I don't like Strapping Young Lad but it's a Melvins cover which automatically makes it a little better. I'm not going to pick favorites. A fun nostalgic MCS song and a wonderful Devo song. At the Drive-In and Treepeople would have a chance but they're not my favorite songs by them.

I'm not familiar with much of your list apart from Beirut, Ten Grand, and of course Nirvana. I haven't really been excited with anything I've heard by Beirut or Ten Grand yet. I used to be completely in love with Nirvana years ago.

Ween - I'm In The Mood To Move
Melvins - Amazon (Continued)
Zox - Ghostown
The Deceraberists - Oh Valencia!
Michael Yonkers Band - Microminiature Love
Fred Frith - Hello Music
Alice Donut - Tiny Ugly World
The (International) Noise Conspiracy - Black Mask
The Ramones - Sheena Is A Punk Rocker
Joy Division - Incubation

Radiohead-Talk Show Host
St. Vincent-Save Me From What I Want
Frou Frou-Let Go

This list is definately random

Time for the daily "not enough time for a full album before I leave work" shuffle. :p:

Props for Sebadoh and Talking HeaRAB, and respect for Ramones, Minutemen, Black Moth and rabV even though I don't listen to or care for them much. I've never heard of Sentridoh, Kary, Distortion Felix, or The Erg!.

Clear Light - She's Ready to Be Free
The Night Marchers - Closed for Inventory
Tool - Faaip De Oaid
Pekka Pohjola - Metsonpeli

Not too big on Beck and R.E.M, and I can't stand the Smiths, but not bad otherwise. Floyd and Bowie in particular are good.

The Unicorns - The Clap
Cocteau Twins - Persephone
Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation
Morte Macabre - Lullaby
Afghan Whigs - Going to Town
The Smashing Pumpkins - Age of Innocence
Hemophiliac - +(=&^)+
Erykah Badu - A.D. 2000
Kanye West - School Spirit
Busta Rhymes - What's It Gonna Be?!

For once I kinda like it.

Under The Bridge has some sweet guitar in it. Your list is cool I like Stevie Ray, Natalie Merchant, and Nick Drake, The Church I've heard good things about but haven't actually listened to, the rest I don't know.

Coldplay- Lovers In Japan/ Reign Of Love
The Living End- I Want A Day
They Might Be Giants- Untitled
The Might Be Giants- Santa's Beard
The Zutons- Confusion
Jerry Garcia Band- The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down
Elvis Costello- Blue Chair [Single-Version]
George Winston- Night, Part 1: Snow
Elvis Costello And The Attractions- Lipstick Vogue
R.E.M.- Pilgrimage

Wow, weird list, two costellos, two TrabGs, and Coldplay, The Living End and The Zutons all popped up, which is honestly 90% of the pop I have on my ipod. My favorites gotta be the R.E.M.

I literally haven't heard any of them :(

Bodylotion - Neighbourhood crime
MGMT - grutu
Stereophonics - Just lookin'
Mauro Picotto - Pulsar
The Killers - Somebody told me
Nazareth - broken down angel
Marco V - Red Purple Blue.
Showtek - The F Track
Deadmau5 - Alone with you
Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (Mstrkrft Remix)

A very interesting shuffle.

^ Well I don't much like Bruce Springsteen which means I probably don't like The Gaslight Anthem either. Not a fan of Jay-Z either. But Nirvana, Portishead and Nine Inch Nails are good. Dntel I've only heard as part of Postal Service so I can't comment, and I don't know the others.

GoRABpeed You! Black Emperor - Static
The Black Heart Procession - When We Reach the Hill
Dead Kennedys - Ill in the Head
Tortoise - Penurabra
Tadd Mullinix - Divided by Lines
Nirvana - Stay Away
ERABel - Shaster!
Lynx - Explosive Diarrhea
Year of No Light - S

Wow, that is an amazing shuffle. Best Coast, Grizzly Bear, The Tallest Man On Earth, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart and Passion Pit are all amazing and some of my favorite banRAB.

The Moldy Peaches- Anyone Else But You
Tullycraft- I Kept The Beach Boys
All Girl Summer Fun Band- Grizzly Bear
Sunset Rubdown- I'm Sorry I Sang On Your HanRAB That Must Have Been In The Grave
Interpol- The Undoing
Sufjan Stevens- Enchanting Ghost
Angus & Julia Stone- Soldier
cLOUDDEAD- Dead Dogs Two
The Lonely Island- Sax Man
Wir Sind Helden- Die Zeit Heilt Alle Wunden

Maybe I just have very narrow tastes, but I find none of those very appealling. I did listen to The Black Keys for a while because my gf (now ex) liked them, and I can honestly say they have a few good tracks.

Black Label Society - Bored To Tears
Norma Jean - Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste
Static-X - W.F.O.
Mastodon - Hearts Alive
Otep - I Remeraber
Hatebreed - Every Lasting Scar
White Zorabie - I Am Legend
The Devin Townsend Project - Demon League
Larab Of God - Magic
Lordi - Icon Of Dominance

So you won't be skipped, I'll do one real fast. I know 8 of the 10 artist. I love "Do It Again" and I named my youngest son after Elvis Costello. Here's mine:

Hard Time Killing Floor Blues - Chris Thomas King
867-5309/Jenny - Tommy Tutone
Get Down - The King Khan & BBQ Show
Getting Better - The Beatles
Refugee - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Arizona - Kings of Leon
Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes
Flirtin' with Disaster - Molly Hatchet
Something Wrong - Mark Sultan
Drive On - Johnny Cash

Some good songs on this shuffle, for now I'll go with Tommy Tutone. That song is easily in my top ten one hit wonders list.

I think with Fugazi their material is consistent enough (while not really repetitive) that you can start with any album. Perhaps start at the beginning with 13 Songs. My favorite albums are probably Repeater, The Argument and Red Medicine. But again, you can't really go wrong with anything.

Let me know if you want me to upload you an album.

That Apollo tune is the only one I really like on your shuffle. Tom Waits always sounded ridiculous to me.

How I Can Just Kill a Man - Cypress Hill
Turn off the Lights - Teddy Pendergrass
Kim & Jessie - M83
Ricochet - Faith No More
22 Going on 23 - Butthole Surfers
All Your Lies - Soundgarden
Clunk - Yo La Tengo
Hello It's Me - Todd Rundgren
Deeper and Deeper - Madonna
Summer Skin - Death Cab for Cutie
